Who Would Sonic Vote For

Post by Delphine »

Just some amusing politijokes involving vidgame characters.

Most notable is this thread.
Knuckles, however, is for Kerry. Donated 50 gold rings and 7 chaos emeralds to his campaign.

So... the real question is: who would Eggman vote for?

And if he didn't win then he'd make himself president anyway. Like George W Bush.

I'd actually like Eggman for president.

He's for robots. And I support that. Robots are plastic and fun to be with.

And Eggman would admit when he was invading other countries just because he felt like it. He wouldn't make up some crappy false reason to back it up. And he'd use robots in the invasion, too. Which is not only cooler, but more efficient and humane (for our side, anyways). And the robots problably wouldn't rape POWs.

Problably.

And he wouldn't have to try to rule the world anymore, he pretty much already would.

..with the consent of Congress 'n crap..

At least Eggman wouldn't say stupid phrases like, "I'll put food on your fambly" -he'd just eat it instead

Plus, Eggman would finally make some very needed aesthetic changes to our nation. I mean, our flag needs to go. Obviously replaced by a picture of the good doctor's face.

And I'm sick of hearing that fucking Star Spangled Banner. E.G.G.M.A.N is something that's not only patriotic, but catchy, too!

Plus, who likes the uninspired name of the "United States of America"? It's long and boring. I much prefer going with Eggman Empire.

And we could abolish silly things like states, and just divide the nation into Robotnik Land - East, West, North and South.

Meh, I seen a clip of this the other day on the Daily Show and I just shook my head thought, what the heck Sega was thinking. They also have an alien chracter from the Capcom game Under the Skin so Capcom must have been smoking the same thing as Sega.

Anyway, you can see this henious video(if you dare) on MTV's Chose or Lose page. It's under the Vote Smart section and the video is called VG Unity--Stand and Choose!

I almost wanted to watch it, until they told me I needed RealPlayer. If there's one thing I'll never vote for, it's RealPlayer.

Wow that was pretty stupid. I don't even think it is worthy of value to put it in the cameos section either. At least Nintendo was smart enough not to put their mascots in this.

You can download that crazy ass video here:

http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/the ... ivals.html

It's an mpeg, and about 52 megs. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles make an appearance, and so does so many shitty game characters. The song sucks though. It gets on my nerves. Still, it's interesting.

I saw that travesty when they showed it on MTV once (shut up, I was hoping they were going to show another clip of Utada, and Pimp My Ride entertains me somewhat), and it made me feel ashamed to be a videogame player.

I have a feeling EA had something to do with putting that shit together-- Their "character" are on that horrendous "Video Mod" show on MTV2 where videogame characters sing along to popular songs. Its a show that achieves unbelievable levels of stupidity.

EA has this weird thing where they think their original characters are cool, but they're some of the cheesiest, dorkiest things I've ever seen (SSX cast. Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, etc.)... I can't believe they're making a Marvel vs. EA fighting game... Who's Wolverine gonna fight against? John Madden? Aragorn? The neon orange Honda Civic from NFSU?
