blueMSX

Normally I don't mess with PC emulation, but the MSX was too important in terms of how it affected the consoles that succeeded it, so lately I've been boning up on the hardware that was basically the Japanese equivalent of the Atari. There's this really great emulator that was just released early this year, I believe, called blueMSX. In terms of features and functionality, it's the best MSX emulator out there, and it's free. The only problem I'm having is that I can't get it to read disk games. It automatically tries to read the cartridge slot every time, whether there's anything loaded in it or not. The emulator itself isn't complete and there are features that aren't working yet, but from what I can tell, it should be playing disk games. I've gone over the instructions and troubleshooting list again and again, and it doesn't seem like there's anything weird I'm supposed to be doing to make it read the disk slot. So, by any chance, has anyone else had this problem?
I can get the disk games to play on paraMSX, which hasn't been updated since, like, 1996, but if I could have my druthers, I'd rather play them on blueMSX.
