It's time to make some Crazy Money! Er, I think.

"Dear God! It's the Crazy Taxi movie that's supposedly been in production for years! And they dropped the Crazy Taxi license in the process! And someone kill Queen Latifah!"
It turns out it's a remake of a French movie from only 1996.
But I still have my suspicions . . .

Wasn't Richard Donner supposed to be directing? What the hell happened to the film anyway? I haven't heard anything about it for like 3 or 4 years...not that i'm desperate to see it or anything...

I saw the trailer for this in the theatre awhile back, and I was thinking to myself, "Is this the Crazy Taxi movie?!" But nowhere did I see that it had anything remotely to do with the game or with SEGA for that matter. All I saw was 20th Fox everywhere. Still looks like a good movie though.

Yeah, that movie looks like shit. I honestly cannot think of a single movie that I actually want to see. This summer I thought there were going to be some big ones, but they were all just big disappointments. The only reason they (Bourne Supremacy, I, Robot) were entertaining was because all I had at "home" during the summer was a 13-inch TV and Halo. Needless to say, AOTCR/TB gets a little old after a while.

Yep. Saw trailer. Will suck. Hate Latifah. Et cetera, et cetera.
There is that remake of "Ju-On" coming out near the end of October that I'm looking forward to. "The Grudge", from Sam Raimi. And Raimi's actually a respectable director, so it has a chance of being good...
There's also Shaun of the Dead, isn't there?

Queen Latifah is actually a decent comedic actress.
It's Jimmy Fallon that will sink this flick, no doubt.

Yeah, he sucks. Though he's kind of cute in a goofy way, so I'm willing to forgive him.
Still, it's an idea with comedic potential. An idiot rookie cop teams up with an insanely reckless taxi-cab driver.
But if they did do a Crazy Taxi movie, I'd rather see them do it as a parody of Speed or something. Maybe a parody of several car-themed movies? Fast and the Furious, Gone in Sixty Seconds, Speed, It's a Mad Mad World - etc.
Perhaps a theif steals a taxi-cab armed with a bomb, and the rest of the cast pursues him in a bunch of pimped-out taxi-cabs trying to warn him of the danger?

The adverts for Team America World Police at the top of the page interest me more. I discovered the trailer to that in Animation class today. Looks to be the best fucking thing ever.

What's the big deal about Team America? It looked mildly amusing to me, but nothing absolutely must-see hilarious. Is it because it's from those South Park dudes? Because I don't follow their stuff.

The trailer wasn't amusing to me in the slightest. Except that the main character was using an M16A1, which are no longer in use.

I don't care what they say, Trey Parker and Matt Stone seem unbelievably gay to me. Their level of gayness is off the scale. And it's only magnified when you put the two in the same room together.
'Course, come to think of it, I can't ever really remember seeing them apart.

In fact, Matt Stone even talks like he's gay.

Jimmy Fallon should stick to his strong suit: Converting oxygen to carbon dioxide.
Oh, and creating mildly amusing songs. But mostly that first one.

Talks, walks, acts - etc.
Then there's the fact that their favorite episode/character is Big Gay Al.
And that the most commonly asked question on the South Park website is "Are Trey and Matt a gay couple?". Apparently, they get e-mails asking that like 5 times a day.
Jimmy Fallon should stick to his strong suit: Converting oxygen to carbon dioxide.
Oh, and creating mildly amusing songs. But mostly that first one.
He was pretty good as the newscaster on SNL's Weekend Report segment.
But aside from that - yeah . . . not really anything notable when it comes to talent, comic timing, a knack for humor, funny personality, or anything else.
You know what would rock, though? If all the members of the GHZ started our own comedy troupe.
We'd be like the Monty Python guys on crack and with more breasts.

Fallon's strong suit is worrying about which way to gel his hair this week, how he will butcher pronouncing words he's reading from the teleprompter, and how best to emulate SNL alums like Adam Sandler, Dana Carvey and Kevin Nealen.
Oh, and Team America does indeed look hilarious, but only if you've a sense of humor.

I'll probably see it, if only because my dad finds the concept hilarious.
He also likes Creed, so I can't vouch for his taste.

That'd be a lot of breasts, "The Meaning of Life" alone had plenty of nekkid boobies in it, quite bouncy ones in fact.

It's the first movie to feature Marionett Sex.
And I'm willing to bet it'll be the last.
Unless a LOT more risque version of Pinnochio is released.
