..and you'd have his Illbeed cameo. Noticed that there was no pic for the Illbleed appearence in the Cameos section, so I thought I'd remedy the situation by Googling up something(also because the model is totally frigging hilarious and I needed a good laugh). Couldn't find one of him bleeding rings unfortunatly, but that one's there if you want to use it.

Speaking of cameos, I recently bought Vighters Megamix. Pretty awesome fighter. A bit unbalanced, but a lot of fun nonetheless; and all of the cool offbeat SEGA cameos make it even more so. In fact, there are a few so obscure that I can't even recognize them. Who are those cactus guys(Deku and his alternate costume) and what's up with Mr. Meat?

I like picturing that thing ripping Shadow to pieces. Or attacking the team that worked on Sonic Heroes.

Man, I need to get my ass off the ground and start playing Illbleed again. I'd just love to see Zonik in motion.

Cool, thanks. I've been looking for a good screenshot of that.

Incidentally, Deku is an original Fighters Megamix character. He wasn't in anything before. Neither, in case you were wondering, was Mr. Meat.

Mr Meat is based off of the meat on the bone powerup from Golden Axe. With arms and legs. And ten times the size. Yeah.

And give them more attention than they really need?

It should come quietly.

Have my babies Dash. I've been wanting a screen of that bad boy ever since I read the review, like, 3 years ago.

The way they described him I imagined it vastly differently, though...more like that big hairy beast motherfucker from the Bone comic book. Anyone ever read that shit?

King Dok? He's cool.

Although really, there are a bunch of giant animals in the Bone comics.

Bone = awesomeness.

Though, I still haven't gotten my hands on the last trade yet.

Yeah, he's the guy I meant. I imagined Zodyk like that, except he looks a whole motherfuckin' lot better than my imagination. r4wk.

His name is spelt "Zodyk" right? Does anyone here actually have the game to confirm it? If it came out in the UK I want a slice of this, it sounds fucking awesome.

Bone does indeed = awesomeness, for those of you reading who have never heard of it. I heard they were coming out with a big ol' hardback collection of the whole thing. Is this true?

Yeah, it's already come out and sold out, actually. There's a second printing in the works, though.

There is also a softcover version of the complete collection, but man, that is a HUGE book to have in softcover. It's thicker than a phone book. It's like havng two copies of Blankets stacked on top of one another.

Looking back on it, Bone was a little out there. It was literally a cross between something Tolkien would write and a wacky, Sunday, Pogo-styled comic strip. Only with art 100% better. It was like, wacky joke, wacky joke, plot development, wackiness, serious moment, more wackiness, increasing darkness, wackiness.

Almost like putting the "Animaniacs" in "Lord of the Rings".

Worked suprisingly well, though.

I read the first three several years ago and loved it. All I remember now though is some evil guy wanting to make a quiche and 2 feet of snow falling at once. Oh and a cow race... how many books are in the series anyway? Not much had happened storywise by book 3.
