Puyo Pop DS

Post by Spazz »

I would post this in the news forum, but I can't.

Yeah, Puyo...again...
I didn't put much effort into this because it's just another Puyo Pop port it seems. Besides, Rlan and Pop didn't want to post it and Esrever already posted an article about it anyway.

It seems that Sonic Team is doing everything short of hypnotizing people to get them to buy Puyo Pop.

Naka: *swinging a pendulum back and forth* You will BBBBBUUUUUYYYYY PPPPUUUUYYYOOOO PPPPOOOOPPPPP.....and Sonic Heroes DX Battle Cut when it comes out next year!

So where's ChuChu Rocket!? It's such a fucking obvious game to port. Replace the shitty GBA control scheme with a mouse / d-pad style scheme, and you'll have removed the one problem with the GBA port.

Or just mimic the Dreamcast control scheme. The DS does have four face buttons, after all.

Not just that, but I dunno if it's been posted yet, but Puyo Puyo Fever PC went in to beta testing recently, for the net battle mode.

Unfortunately you need the Japanese edition of Windows to install it, otherwise it just goes "haha no" and closes.
