Evacuation Thread ("Killer" Katrina)

EDIT: Bump of an old topic, see latest post.
If I'm not back in three days...
it means I'm dead, maybe. Most probably not.
Okay, so we're getting the heck outta here (around New Orleans) because of "Ivan the Terrible" (the hurricane) and I live in the most vunerable part of the US to be hit, and the predictions for where it's going keep going slightly west towards us. It's a category 5, so if we were to get hit directly, that means the whole city will supposedly be underwater for at least a month. (My PRECIOUS VIDEO GAMES, NOOOooo
ooo...) So if you don't hear from me, you know what's going on. I seriously doubt that that's going to be the case though. I'm actually taking my PC with me, but I won't be able to use it. If I can get on the internet with my laptop, i'll do that.
So, I just thought that ya'll would like to know that, and hopefully I'll see you guys soon. >_^

Good luck, be well, and pray that nothing that belongs to you is swept into the total of "property damage"!

Yeah, good luck. Be grateful you and your parents have the good sense to get out of there.

I have a friend in Florida who had to evacuate a couple weeks ago. I haven't heard from him since. :\

When Lily hit a couple years ago, we were without power for a week...

What is up with all these bad winds around them parts lately?
Good luck, Spazz. Stay out of mobile homes, the furniture is terrible.

Good luck Spazz, hope you and your home survive.
BTW, isn't this the 4th huricane or so that's hit the States recently? I mean, I think Bush must be pissing off God or something, I mean is it normal to get so much disasters in a row? Meanwhile, here in Scotland, we only get the wimpy remains of your dreaded hurricanes. Ivan wont get ME.
*is suddenly struck by lightning which happened as a result of the remains of Hurricane Ivan.
Once again, good luck Spazz.

Mankind did something to piss off God. I'll go with the above poster and say it's Bush. Good luck, Spazz and...well...see ya for now.

Ooh, fire!
The New Orleans refugees have the interstate clogged clear out to here.

I don't know how any of you can manage to live down there. If Florida is America's wang, than Louisiana must be that sweaty spot between your balls and your corn hole where dead skin and sweat accumulates.
For once, I'm glad I live in southern California. You know what the weather was like today? Warm and sunny. You know what it'll be tomorrow? Warm and sunny. The day after that? Warm and sunny. Next week? Warm and sunny. Next month? Slightly less warm, but still sunny. Bwahahahaha...
Good luck Spazz. Stay away from the windows.

Although that certainly
sounds nice, and my girlfriend and I often dream of living there together some day, I think I really
do enjoy having four distinctly different seasons.
One of the few benefits of living in Northwest Ohio, I suppose.

sazzy is getting on with life as much as she can. she feels depressed about you ditching her, but you don't give a crap about that, only about yourself.
if any justice is to be done, that hurricane will hit you, it will hit you bad. you will lose all your possessions, and realize what its like to lose something that is close to your heart, just like sazzy lost you. maybe then you'll appreciate life more, and possibly talk to the poor lass explaining why you've been a total asshole the past few days.
goodbye, i won't wish you good luck, quite franky you don't deserve it.
Put a sock in it, you crazy whore.
I don't know Spazz as a close friend, but he definietly isn't the type to "ditch" a girl, and if he did he probably had a good reason. And theres no "justice" in getting hit with a tornadoe, unless your Michael Jackson or something. If Spazz is the same offline as he is online, then he's a good guy, no doubt about it, and you should feel guilty about saying crazy shit like that.

Yeah, like Spazz is supposed to stay with some girl he doesn't like any more and pretend to care about her? Fuck that. Goddamn I hate high school girls.

Oops! Where'd that crazy bitching go?
Hey Holic -- can we ban angry_beaver? S/h/it is only here to harrass Spazz, and damnit, the little brat's grown on me.
Speaking of which. Don't die or anything, kay?

Yeah, I used to live back East (In America's armpit, New Jersey) a few years ago, and for awhile after I first moved here, I sorta missed the seasons.
And then I walked outside in February, and it was 60 degrees instead of 20 or 30, and I smiled.
And on the other topic-- Yeah, if we can ban Angry Beaver, atleast
douche the troll. Where as the other trolls just spout out random annoying nonsense, she's here to be annoying and to be a crazy, over-zealous ho-bag.

I think Angry_Beaver's trolling behavior and overglorification of problems that are not only common High School problems but common every-day life problems is just the kind of cuntraggery attitude that will save this world. You fucks are just too blind to see that the milling over stupid bullshit is just what this country needs right now.
And it is really too bad that you may get hit by the 'cane. I live close enough inland that all we really get is a lot of rain, wind, and some power outages and flooding, but that really isn't anything compared to a hurricane just shitting all over your house. Good luck, and pack as much shit as you can.

Good luck Spazz.
Don't die, as the GHZ would be oh-so empty without you.

Be safe, little guy.
You're the GHZ's closest thing to a "Bright-Eyed Innocent". Which I think is supposed to be a compliment.
sazzy is getting on with life as much as she can. she feels depressed about you ditching her, but you don't give a crap about that, only about yourself.
It's a highschool relationship. What did you expect? That they should get married? Get real. Stuff in highschool doesn't last, and it shouldn't.

I had a girlfriend a while a-go, but she said she doesn't llike me anymore, so meh.

I love you, bye!

That is a remarkably accurate description, not just climatically, but also culturally, socially, and economically.
It also means that Texas is the country's asshole, which is another perfect description.
However, based on my 4 days in southern California, I don't think I'd want to live there, either. San Fran on upward is where it's at.
