Just a mundane question that occurred to me earlier today. I have a dream that I will find someone who used the A button. Just like I have a dream that someone will one day identify the stop light as the "top one" instead of the "red one."

I'm gonna have to go back and play Sonic because I have no idea which one I used. I imagine it was either A or C though because I don't see me pressing the on in the middle. I'm thinking C though.

I tend to switch between B and C frequently.

You seem to be looking for wierdness, so how's this. I prefer to play Sonic with a Sega Master System joystick, cause it's left handed. I jump with the 2 button.

Silv used to keep insisting on this as a weekly poll question years ago. I think I just take for granted the fact that everyone uses the C button.

I chose C, but back in the day I used to use B. Now I use them pretty much interchangeably, but C gets pressed the most. It may be because my hands got bigger, or it may be because the 6-button pads are smaller.

I actually used the B button so much on my original pack-in controller that it stopped responding quickly. I opened it up (curious about what the inside of a dead controller looked like, mostly) and it turned out that there was that gross dead skin that builds up on controllers over time actually between the button and the circuit that it pressed down on. I cleaned it off and it was good as new..

I used to use C exclusively, but I wore that button out on my controller. The move to B was very awkward. :/

It SEEMS like everyone would use C, but... I just KNOW that someone doesn't, and I think it's important that we find out who so that we can go about the appropriate mocking and exclusion.

Yes, I really do use the A button. Really.

At least, I think I did; it's been a while, so I have to go and re-play a Genny classic. Not that I have a problem with that.

Though as I got playing Sonic Jam I started unknowingly using the C button a lot more than I used to. I think that's due to the fact that B would always act as "cancel" on every single menu screen.

Why would anyone use the A button? It's the least conveniently placed of the three.

C. Always C. Except when I want to rev up a Super Spin Dash...then I rapidly press B and C.

When I play Sonic Mega Collection, though, I always play with the big, green A button.

I used to use the B button early on but then gravitated to the C button, which I think can be attributed to Chaotix. Either button worked well. The A button...just say no.

Count me in as using the C button, as well.

Didn't most Genesis games have the C button as the primary action button, anyway? So it would make sense to use C, besides the fact that it simply makes the most sense as far as hand position goes.

I normally use B, but my controler won't work recently so I use C (only because A and B won't work if the other buttons do.)
