Sonic universe characters (and why Mina and Sally?) crossed with Final Fantasy X-2 outfits.

Mina is mongoose character from Archie. She runs as fast as Sonic apparently and makes Sally jealous. I couldn't tell you more. As that's when I stopped reading that trash.

A fucking MONGOOSE? What the hell? Why not just make her a lemming or a civet or a red panda or some other incredibly obscure character.

I mean damn - aside from Riki Tiki Tavi - I can't think of a single other cartoon mongoose. Ever.

From what I remember, they made her a mongoose because mongooses can run fast, thu Mina's speed, which I still think is cheap.

Dude, that's a GOOD thing. What would you prefer, another cat character? Or how about a dog? A mouse? Oooo, they're original.

And whatever way you cut it a mongoose is far less obscure of a creature than an echidna. Who even knew what an echidna was before Sonic 3? Heck, who knew what an echidna was after Sonic 3?

I honestly think that Mina is the best Sonic designed Sonic character outside of Sega of Japan. Unlike virtually all of the other non-SoJ characters (Sally, Rotor, Antoine, Captain Plunder, Lord Sidewinder, Dingo) she actually looks like a Sonic character. The proportions are about right, she has the distinctive eyes and muzzle of a Sonic character, she's wackily coloured, she has a sleek, cool look. Her being an obscure species helps, as most Sonic characters avoid the cutesy fluffy woodland creature cliche (Tails and Cream being the notable exceptions). And it sure as hell beats another hedgehog or echidna or a three tailed fox.

Yeah, her character's pretty lame, but the design is pretty damn good, Spaz was at the top of his game back then.
