Who is da all-time best sonic character? I think Big the Cat is because he's laid back and does nothing but fish and fart around with his frog all day. Please don't say "why isn't blankety-blank man here? he's my favorite." just choose from them on da poll or don't choose and ponder the question forever...

Oh give me a break! They're from the unreleased, leaked prototype of Sonic 4. Jesus Christ, you can find it on practically every ROM site ever. I'm so sick of people coming here who don't even know the most basic things about Sonic history.

Not only is Kevin the Aardvark in the Sonic 4 prototype, but he was also in popular games with sonic such as Sonic and Kevin, Sonic and Kevin 2, Sonic and Kevin Go to Hawaii, etc.

I just noticed how uncreative most of their names are. They all describe what kind of animal they are... Except Amy and Tails. And they have the most debates on what they are.

None of them describe what kind of animal they are, just their special abilities, shape or color.

Sure they do. "Sonic the Hedgehog", "Knuckles the Echidna", et al. The name, followed by 'the' and the species of animal. Sonic Team has done this for arguably every single furry character you see, except for, as mentioned, Tails and Amy.

Sonic and the rest need last names instead of "the ___". How about Sonic Johnson? Knuckles Hartbarger? Big Dick? Ah hell, I'll stop.

What the fuck were they thinking? Sure, red Pengo was there, but only as the player 2 character - and that doesn't cut it for me.

Dude, I cannot figure out how to play that game. I destroy all the enemies and more appear. I destroy all the blocks and nothing happens. What are you supposed to do? In the original Pengo all you have to do is kill all the enemies.

People are never sure if Tails is just a mutated fox, or a two-tailed kitsune.

But kitsunes have one tail for every 100 years they lived. So if Tails had two tails, that would make him 200 years old.

Perhaps this explains his mechanical genius? He's a supergenius who's not inept because of youth, but senile from old age.

A fox and a kitsune are the same thing. "Kitsune" is just the Japanese word for fox. They're fairly notorious in Japanese folklore, which is where the multi-tailed stuff comes from. But they're still just foxes.
