It's like not knowing who Bill Gates is.

300 squids just for the preview? If so then man, flash animation seems to be getting rather expensive lately.

Hey. I try not to pay attention to the horrible idiots in this community.

Shit, I think I remember this dude from the SonicHQ forums way back when I used to frequent them. Dude had a large diapered tails pic as an avatar and always seemed to be talking some drama about his man-baby ways. Yeah just... man. I mean, why does the Sonic community attract such things?

That's actually alot of shit for $300.

I charge more than that per day for animation work alone. This had direction, voice-acting, music, artworking, and compositing included in that, and almost certainly took more than a day. I'd say he got a real bargain.

I was going to say, yeah, $300 is a steal. I'm not saying he got the most talented people, he probably got people who were willing to work for next to nothing (imagine how that $300 was split up!)

So if this manchild is so apparently deplored by the masses, why are we linking to videos of his bullshit and enabling him again? :\

By 'animated fan film', I presume this is separate to the script for the Sollar Systems 3D one? At first, I thought it was an animatic or something.

So I just looked up his ED page and he wears diapers, craps himself, posts images and videos of it online, and draws Sonic characters doing that too.

That quote I made just became so much more relevant.

It's because Chris-chan went back into hiding.

Wow, he is Chris without the autism or extreme laziness.

Why would you not want to enable such an interesting fellow?

After using the name so many times in that letter, I wish it had actually been signed "Sega." (Or better yet, "SEGA!!")

How hard would he have to continue to pester Sega in order to not only have them take legal action against him, but actually get him into a wacky courtroom scenario in which the prosecution's final piece of evidence is a photo of the defendant wearing a diaper in a giant-sized baby cage? Because I want to live in a world where that happens.

Kuta wrote:A lot of people of have been suggesting that I contact the studio and either demand for better quality or a refund.
This quote is already ridiculous and I'm not suggesting he should be able to get the money back (or a "free" redo), but I am surprised that the video was made by a "studio" and not three or four gullible fans. Who was this studio? I am really curious!

Linterna Magica, apparently. It's obvious they were just jerking Kuta around for a laugh and a quick buck when everything else they've done is relatively not shitty.

Wow, nice! Another thought--I am surprised that a professional animation studio would take a job drawing a licensed character that the client did not have permission to use.

Kuta's comments on Magica's YT page made me chuckle.
"Hey guys! Thank you so much for assisting us in bringing our project to life. Your sense of style and detail perfectly correlates to what were trying to accomplish. "
It's funny because after the fans started criticizing the preview, Kuta quickly changed his tune and repeatedly said how he felt ripped-off by the studio and that the animation was absolutely nothing like he wanted it to be.

Oh shit, all this has suddenly made me remember that a while ago somebody made a little 3D Sonichu animation (unconnected to the Animated Series that also exists, as far as I know), and it was actually pretty fucking good. It featured him tearing the face off a big robot while telling it "No darkies, jerkop!" It was a parody but not openly mocking. I can't find the thing on Youtube though. Has anybody else seen what I'm talking about?
