I saw it yesterday and it's freaking great. I'm not sure if it's better than the first, but it is pretty good. I'm gonna sit here and wait you guys so we can talk about it later with no spoilers and all...

did you watch the same film I did? I thought it was a disappointment. It wasn't exactly a bad film but I think without Robert Downey Jr it probably would have ended up being quite dull. It just felt like an hour and a half of build up to an underwhelming finale. There was also probably fewer action scenes in this than there were in the first film. I think part of the problem is there were a few too many plot threads going on and while this film handles them better than say Spider-Man 3 or X-Men: The Last Stand some stuff could have probably could have been left out. Rhodey felt really underdeveloped(and the recasting probably didn't help) and Black Widow just seemed to there for the sake of it. Despite my complaining it was still a decent film but my advice would be lower your expectations.

Also, there is quite a cool after-credits scene but it didn't really have much to do with rest of the film.

It was full of fillers, I am just gonna say that the 2 vs one formula is only good if the two are the vlllains...

Well it was kind of what I expected and wanted to be: Robert Downey Jr. being Robert Downey Jr., but with a goatee and an armor. But it really surpassed my expectations in terms of what RDJr could do.
