I should have bought the 360 version though, the PS3 controller's analogue stick feels less accurate and precise. Which is a problem seeing how you're too slow on Medium analogue sensitivity and the High one sends you twitching around the screen with the slightest of tilts.

After Burner is one of those "classic" games like Tower of Druaga whose status as "classic" I've always found perplexing. Like, why did anyone ever think this was fun? Maybe it works better with a flight stick.

I feel the same way about all of Sega's console successes before Sonic. Like Alex Kidd and Kid Chameleon.

So if After Burner is still cool, are Sega going to get their shit together and release Planet Harrier? That would certainly make me Climax, hur hur.

I think you are supposed to play it with a flight stick while in a moving arcade seat during the mid-80s to realise how extreme it is.

Huh, they also spelled it wrong on my registration papers...

My only experience with Afterburner is from Shenmue II, but it was still pretty awesome. I was excited to hear about this at first, but I don't think I'll get it.
