Never change Capcom.

Gold Edition DLC starts tomorrow with the Lost in Nightmare scenario and New Mercs characters (Barry Burton & Excella).

They shouldn't have called it Street Fighter 4. It's a total rehash.

So yeah, Dudley and Makoto.

I can't wait for my next local-international SF4 tourney...the resident German and Italian teams are about to become gutter trash.

(Hope all that juggling + hcf stuff still works...and even if it doesn't, I'm just happy I won't be attending high level play as Seth anymore.)

I don't think we'll see any 3rd Strike style juggling in this game, but at least they get all their supers back. Makoto gets her epic stun supers and isn't stuck with that vegetable BS. The transition into 3D looks pretty close to their counterparts too.

Just hope Makoto gets some EX command grab and they leave her Hayate and overheads alone. Shes the only reason I want this game right now.

I ain't touching this until I can get a decent joystick to play it with. I learned my lesson from playing Street Fighter IV on a 360 controller.

Yeah, get an arcade stick. It's impossible to be good at these games with a control pad unless you're seriously devoted and willing to invest ludicrous cash into a plastic surgeon to cure all those nintendo thumbs of yours afterwards.

Or just take a 360 or any USB keyboard - once you get the hang of that, you will wipe the floor with pretty much anyone who isn't a small Japanese or Korean kid (either that or are playing on keyboard themselves); especially in a 3rd Strike parry-happy match.

I've found nothing wrong with being a pad warrior. Thumbs just feel so much more efficient then silly arcade sticks.

Also, new trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zY1WGnnlLk

Everyone seems to have made the transition nicely. Slightly disappointed by Dudley's VA and lack of "Let's fight, like gentleman." but the Dempsey Roll more then made up for that. The Hajime no Ippo like-ness must've been too good to pass up. Makoto's intro is sort of awkward and needs more screaming. Cody's VA is sexy, and gotta say Juri's is kinda invigorating.

T.Hawk is still the worse character ever.

I am still mad at Capcom for not making a new Klonoa game that isnt a remake...

Yeah seriously, Klonoa should have been in TvC too.

I mean, they put him in Namco X Capcom. Oh wait-...

Gah! What the hell happened to Dudley's voice? Compared to before, he sounds like he has had his balls removed and shit. (His original rough and manly speech was too awesome to pit against 4's bland one-liners is my guess.)

...at least Makoto still gets to do her scream-with-testosterone-all-over-the-place-while-hurting-people routine. Need to find myself a moonspeak version of this - I suspect all of them will have much better voices there.

I was pretty sure you could swap the voice track to Japanese in SF4 as it was.

Sure you can, but I kind of wanted to hear them now as opposed to what, 2 months from now...turns out Capcom's official website already has them available for sampling, so all well I guess.
