So how's Dragon Age?

It is better than it looks, right?

I am told it's quite bloody!

I don't have the money for it yet, but I don't see any indication that it wouldn't be just like every other Bioware RPG, whether you like that or not.

Haven't played it yet, but doesn't seem half as interesting as Mass Effect to me. Just initial impression, concept a step down.

It looks boring and stupid and gay, and everyone I know who likes it says I'm wrong because I happen to be "too picky" about the games I enjoy.

I'll probably never even try it because I'm not generally a fan of western RPGs (actually, any RPG nowadays) or high fantasy settings.

That said, I got Demon's Souls and am liking it so far.

Yeah, it obviously looks like something a terminally ill dragon might have passed, but supposedly it has its fans and I'm interested to hear their side of the story.

Or at least thoughts from anyone who has actually played the game.

Anytime bioware releases a game, I am always dismayed with how terrible the character designs are.

I haven't gotten it, but I was sold by the ability to have a magical giant monster dog and a gay elf prostitute as your party members.

20 minutes in and I already know this is the best-written fantasy RPG video game I've ever experienced.

Although with all the dialogue trees I kept on picturing what Sam and Max would say in these situations and now I can't stop doing it.
