It all went to hell when they gave Sonic for him to handle with USA.

You rapidly noticed the difference when you saw SA2, San fransisco (even Omo Chao makes a san fransisco reff) Halloween reference everywhere, more rap, more gimmiks, more guns.

to be fair SA2 was an ok game but only served as a warning to what was to come.

We all saw when SonicTeam was given their true first next gen USA project what the outcome was...Sonic Heroes and later Shadow using the same heroes models (laziness at its best and it hasn't changed)

Sonic Team has way too many feature freaks.

Must I post the Sonic circle again? it goes like this, they promise RETURN TO ROOTS!!! wow!! Sonic alone but then at the last minute some smartass says why not add Aliens,Monsters,guns,swords,genies,reptiles and all 1000 of Sonic's sidekicks Only Shadow,Blaze or Silver fully playable ect.... and all goes to hell.

Sincerily I think the big mistake was porting Sonic to the gamecube, little kids follow nintendo like a religion and when sonic hit nintendo it was their next idol, they didnt see Sonic 1 first no they saw SA2 (which was already corrupted) and thus they must be writing letters to Sonic Team saying they want to see Shadow in the next game capping some hoes in a BMW convertible or else they will not buy a sonic game ever again.

Arcade and Dasher talking to each other never gets old.

Yeah...makes you feel old doesn't it? but is not our fault, the customer is always right!

The sad news is their customer now are billion of crazy kids who only know Nintendo Gamecube-Wii and don't even know what a Sega Saturn is.

Why is HD game not on my Wii.

Make it 16-bit! The kids would go nuts. Whack a Super Eagle on it for the PS360 crowd, and Robert's your father's brother.

I just dont get it. Sonic's main demographic is kids, right? Wii is the big "kid console", right? So, like, what the hell Sega?

You assume any SEGA PR guy actually knows what he is talking about.

Others things I dont like:

Letter ranking system: This has become really annnoying, remove it and just let the "numbers" score like in old games

Other playable characters: Really, I love tails, and Knuckles, but people will buy the game without them, and having only Sonic as a playable character saves time that should be used to improve the game, not to use weird mechanics that people will hate. Sonic and the Black knight...wtf?.

Sonic and the secret rings, while being a racing game, was close to what people wanted, only Sonic was playable, all the new "powers" where just upgrades related to Speed, not junk like Shadow with guns or Sonic with a sword.
