Don´t you think some of of the Sonic series characters look a lot like Hollywood (dead, alive and forgotten) actors? Here is minha lista pessoal (try to guess what I said) of these strange-but-real comparitions:
Sonic-Marlon Brando in his golden days
Tais-Elijah Wood before LOTR
Knuckles-Hugh Jackman
Amy-a younger Drew Barrymore
Shadow-the dude that was the villain of Mission Impossible II
Rouge-Hale Berry
Espio-Jet Li
Eggman-a fat and red-haired Doctor Brown (I forgot his name too)

I agree that Elijah Wood kind of resembles Tails - with the right haircut, and those giant, creepy, anime-esque, blue eyes.
Marlon Brando doesn't resemble Sonic.
He resembles Doctor Eggman.

I never considered that. He must have SOME hot genes in him, considering the good looks of his late cousin.
Perhaps in his '20s, Dr. Eggman looked just like Jake Gyllenhaal or something?

It all started when I´ve played Sonic Mega Collection for the fist time.
Do you know that character gallery where you can zoom in and out the pictures? Well, I´ve zoomed in Rouge, and putted/put the picture in a position where I could see only under her nose and above. the first thing I said was: "Hmmm...sun-tanned mouth...valuable but not that big "front comission" (translated brazilian slang for you-know-what)...I´ve seen/saw those in "Monster´s Ball"...hey, she looks like Hale Berry!". Except for her, all the other actors were improvised when I started this post.
