A dream

Last night I dreamed NEC released a new console.
It looked kind of like a GameCube. I think it was dark green, but that's kind of hazy.
There were some cool looking launch games from Hudson. The Hudson bee was used in all the advertising.
I was actually a little disappointed when I woke up.
What's the Freudian interpretation of this?

Because the PC-Engine was awesome.
And knowing GG! he probably also owns a PC-FX.

I don't remember what I paid for it, but I know it was less than 10,000. Now they're going for 50,000. They can't be rare. What happened?

PC-Engine might be the most dissapointing system I ever played (do not own a Wii yet).

I probably would have liked the PCE better if I hadn't spent 8 or more years lusting at screen shots before ever actually playing anything on it.

This reminds me of the recently released
Mega Drive 4. Complete with its own
Guitar Hero imitation.
You know you want it.

Almost forgot about Toytec. It's kind of ironic that they're still producing new hardware long after SEGA got out of the game.
And Kogen, you have every right to be suspicious of the Wii. My brother's lasted a year before it suddenly refused to read disks. I've never had issues to that extent with any other console.

The Freudian interpretation is you are a hopeless manchild obsessed with electronics designed to entertain adolescents and children.
I mean, you want to fuck your mother.

As a student psychologist, my professional interpretation is that you want to fuck bees.

Pinobee was awesome. It was like a successor to Rocket Knight Adventures.

I just don't dream anymore, i guess my soul is empty these days, not enough fun, just hassle, work and annoying situations.

I'm pretty sure it just means that you've been thinking about video games too much or not playing them as much as you'd like to. You probably also feel that NEC could succeed (in the hardware market) if it was given a second chance. You've likely given some thought (at least subconsciously) on how they could had done better if they were to do it all over again.
