All you have to do is sign up with Nintendo and register your GameCube and five registerable games. The problem (for me) is that they only started putting PINs on games recently, so none of my games are on the
compatibility list. I did get a PIN for FF:CC from someone, so I still need four more. If anyone could help me out with this, me love you long time.

It's absolutely possible for me to just grab a stack of GC games from work and give you the codes for 'em. They'll all be PAL, though, so if that's a problem, just say.
I'm not in the shop until Sunday though. I don't mind ringing someone up and getting them to do it instead if you need it earlier.

Well, it's only while supplies last, so the sooner, the better. If you would actually be able to get me all 4 codes (from the games on the list), I would love you really, really long time.

Where are these codes placed on the games? If they're just on little inserts included in the box, we probably won't have them, 'cause our stock is primarily pre-owned. We do have a few brand new games though, so I guess I could just rip 'em open for you.
If it's only with a select few games, I'm probably gonna have to do it myself.

Will it freak out if you register a game and then someone buys it and tries to register the same serial number?

Well, it'll just mean our customers won't be able to register their shit. They won't try anyway. They think the internet is, like, how microwaves communicate.

Meh, I only registered two games, and don't feel like doing the rest...
If past experience is to be followed, those bonus discs should be readily available through Gamestop or EB. I bought my Zelda: Collector's Edition at Gamestop, and Circuit City was kind enough to sell that old Gamecube Demo Disc for ten bucks new. As you recall, the stores were only supposed to give those out with Gamecube purchases, but whatever...

They're usually on a card for Nintendo Power or something, I think. It may be different in the UK. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be on the disc or insert. It's only certain GB/GBA games. When I said "compability list" that was a link, so those are the only games that have them.
I was going through every one of my games trying to find one before I realized it was only certain newer ones.

When I said 'insert', I meant something like a little card they just stick in there.

Yeah, I saw. Guh. I don't know why I'm even helping you. Can we ban him?

Okay, little misunderstanding. I was talking about the insert as in like the DVD case cover.

What the heck? If you won't be able to do it, that's fine, but I would really appreciate it if you would.

I took that as you weren't sure if it was only some games or not. Again, just a little misunderstanding.
Ban Popcorn...

Well, I took a look, and none of the stuff (even the new unopened stuff) seems to have anything resembling any of registration code in it. I guess it's not a UK thing, sorry.

Oh, well. Thanks.

You know, Metroid or otherwise, a demo disk is a pretty weak reward for purchasing $250 worth of brand new Nintendo software, especially when you're limited to titles released in the last eight or nine months. Hell, if I hadn't seen the list, I would have had trouble just naming five different Gamecube titles published by Nintendo in that period.
