Sometimes I wonder if people read a few posts in a forum before joining and posting.

You're paying over $200 for an unpainted figurine from an 8 year old videogame in a series that is no longer relevant.
And there are 6 days left in the auction, so you may very well be outbid.
Color me impressed.

Bu-bu-but you guys, it's RARE!
...
You can get a DSLite, DSi, or a PSP + one game from either handheld for less than that.

"It's Metal-imbued Sonic! Surely, his ability to walk under water will prove invaluable to your adventure!"
"Except... you know... he already did that..."
I hope you can sell that for more than $10 someday.

...Speaking of rip-offs, I was so miffed at SADX's shortcomings the other day, that I nearly bought a used Dreamcast, all its equiptment, and a copy of the original game in a bout of temporary insanity. In retrospect, I'm glad I didn't spend the money.

The Dreamcast version is just as flawed. That was the problem. They gave the game a coat of lacquer but didn't touch any of the errors.

I realize that now. Actually, it's the graphical changes that bugged me the most... Mainly that stupid water rippling effect and some undesired color changes, among other things.

Apparently even the finished retail versions of these figures are rare now.
How did that happen? I remember getting like half a dozen of them for free back when I worked at LameStop.

And to think, the actual collector's edition was overproduced and is pretty much worthless.

Also record footage of it being destroyed and post it on Youtube.

Are Sonic's arms that long?
I don't recall them being that long....
if you paint him, make sure his arms are blue.

I once had an unopened Amy Rose Sonic Adventure figure (Resaurus line) that I stupidly sold on eBay for $35.
It's now damn near impossible to find and probably worth more than $100

Is it? I've still get the whole set (except skiing Sonic) in still unopened packages, but I've never been able to guess how much they're worth because I never see them online anymore.

Yusuke Urameshi is enjoying his life outside of cardboard.

I used to have these Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails toys that came in Sonic Adventure boxes that I got when I was about 10, but I can't find them anywhere on ebay. They were really nice quality and well put together but.....they all broke so easily. And I was never rough with my toys or anything. A friend and I buried there remains in my front yard and made a map of their locations. They're long gone by now, but I may still have the map in an unsorted box somewhere.

I don't remember ever seeing any Yu Yu Hakusho toys.

I don't know if this is better of here or in the Comic Con thread, but is anyone else picking up one of these guys?
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.js ... Id=3579167
Supposedly it's limited to just San Diego Comic Con this year and online via Toys R Us. It's certainly not the ideal Metal Sonic figure I would have liked (I guess it's based on some other figure line?) but it's probably the only one that will ever be made, so I went for it. I never did order any of the First 4 figures (
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2337&p=98167&hilit=figures#p98167) due to the vagaries of actually obtaining them.

Sonic Adventure was a great game, too bad they never made a sequel...
