I guess I'm going to have to be the one to ask. Is it any good?

Co-Op is a blast, very faithful to the movies, a little too short.

How's single-player?

I haven't seen Ghostbusters as an adult. I got the Blu-Ray so I'm looking forward to seeing if I enjoy the movie more or less than when I was a child.

Pretty good. Gameplay fits, but isn't totally mind-blowing. Dialogue, collectables, and faithfulness to the story and universe are what really make it. The AI works well enough in Single=Player, albeit there are times when the AI is so good it will accomplish things for you, making you feel kind of useless, actually. First time I ever saw that in a video game, come to think of it.

It holds up equally well thanks to the dialogue and more subtle interactions between the cast, I think.

I'm strongly considering the Wii version. For 1 thing it's the only version with local co-op which in my mind is of greater value than any online modes for the other versions (really 4-player co-op should've been a given for the 360). But more importantly is the matter of whether my dad would be able to enjoy it. Because after Goldeneye there's no way he would ever play a game requiring dual sticks.

But the graphics, seriously WTF? What was wrong with a lower res, lower poly realistic style? Did they actually think people would prefer cartoons over live action?

- So what you're saying is you'd rather have Ghostbusters Unleashed -- a watered down port instead of a more original game designed directly for the console at hand.
- God forbid they actually take some artistic license!
- Cartoony graphics? WHAT IS THIS SHIT I WANT MY GAMES REALISTIC GHOSTBUSTERS RUINED FOREVER

Pick one, I honestly can't decide.

The Ghostbusters cartoon series was one of the best movie to cartoon series adaptations ever. It's right up there with other greats like Men in Black the animated series.

Yes, but the designs in question aren't taken from The Real Ghostbusters, which they probably should've been.
