Assuming this is actually REAL (probably not, I would assume Capcom's too occupied with the Tatsunoko crossover game at the moment), how interesting would it be?

Before anyone gets too excited, doesn't the rumor say it's:

-some kind of fighting/rpg hybrid

-coming to handheld(s)

-developed by Sega

Who cares, Phoenix Wright vs. Sonic. May the best spikey blue sarcastic guy win! And by that, I mean Phoenix.

Also, if it's going to be unveiled at TGS, you would think it would have happened at Sega's presser...

Given that AFAIK both Sega and Capcom (definitely Sega) have had their press conferences already for TGS, and this game wasn't announced, I'm calling foul.

Sounds like Sonic Battle. Which wasn't horrible! If there's plenty of fan service, I can see this being a good time.

To be fair it was the style at the time.

And lol, I've never seen this one before. Is it the PAL version? It's kind of awesome, in a live-action Japanese kind of way.

Yeah that Pal version Megaman one is my fav of the non Japanese covers! I mean Megaman actually looks like a kid with a clothed suit with no muscles, Wily looks like and Old man scientist! Gutsman looks like Gutsman! Fire and Elec too! The Castle in the background! its all so... perfect!!

If they wanted a real life Megaman which I hope to God it wont happen, this is the look I desire.

I love these old cheesy covers. Especially since I didn't see most of them at the time (not sure how really).

The artwork of Mega Man and Sonic shaking hands is from Sega Visions when Sega announced they were making a 6-button controller for Street Fighter II's release. I was hoping it would lead to Mega Man being released for the Genesis eventually, but it never happened (in the US at least). Has anyone seen it anywhere else or was that all it was used for?

I have that issue! I never saw it anyplace else though, maybe in another magazine or two covering the same news item, but I only recall it in Sega Visions.

That was a pretty amazing thing to have been just giving away.

Was that Sega Visions? I could've sworn it was Game Players. Either way, I'm pretty sure I've got the issue stored away somewhere.
