Hi there,
just after watching the movie American Beauty I remembered the feeling of a quote done by Sonic. It deals with the tearms of finding the strength of getting active and changing something in your life. In some case just like an old chinese saying "everyday you make a decision, that is a happy day". I really can't tell how Sonic's saying sounded like, but I remember the idea of painting it onto my a wall of my room. So I would be really happy if someone could help me to remember the good old days :)

I wonder if that last one doesn't have something to do with "Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying" by Gerry and the Peacemakers. With all the musical influences on Sonic 1's soundtrack, it makes me really curious.

Thanks for the fast reply, but somehow there's not the quote I'm looking for .. I guess I have to take a deep look at my harddrive, maybe I made a wallpaper or something like that where I could have used the sentence.

Was it on one of the wallpapers from the old Sonic Team site?

Huh...first time I saw that was on the card table in the Sonic Hi Lo game from Shuffle.

I always figured that was the original translation of the It Doesn't Matter lyrics, before they were made into, y'know, lyrics.

"Lets blast through with sonic speed" is the only quote that really stuck with me.

"It's juice and jam time!"

Yeah, more or less. Sonic says that to Elise after that desert stage (in some cutscene that takes place in the Bliss wallpaper from Windows XP). It's a lot more awkward in that context than it is otherwise.

Sonic sure has said a lot of pretentious bullshit for a talking rodent!

The single most memorable line to ever come out of Sonics mouth is without a doubt,

“aah... i was on a snooze cruise, i guess”

After those words are spoken, and we see a just a brief glimpse of Tails reaction to them, one can truely see how the young foxs entire world gets torn apart, as he realises that his once-idol has finally lost his last shred of coolness, that the hero he once knew is dead and has ben replaced by the inhumanly pathetic creature that now stands in front of him. This scene just breaks my heart every single time i watch it.

"Aww yeah! This is happenin'!"

"Tails watch out your gona crash, Ahhh!"

"Dat was tight!"

In all seriousness, what's up with that expression? When I saw the cutscene for the first time, I thought Chaos or Eggman was right behind him about to beat the shit out of him.
