Vyse, Aika and apparently Fina are going to have a cameo in this valkyria game. I think it's about time they appeared in another sega game. they always seem to get left out of games like Sega Superstars and those secret sonic rider levels.

Fuck Kotaku, we had it first. But yeah, it's totally awesome. If I owned or wanted to own a PS3 I'd be all over that.

Well crud, now I have to play this. I've been kind of curious about it, but a couple years back I abandoned any hope of Sega making a good game ever again, so I kind of brushed it off. I have mixed feelings about the look and the character design is awful, but if the Arcadia guy's directing, I'll give anything a chance. What else has he done since Arcadia? Anything?

And I wasn't aware that Hitoshi Sakimoto was composing the soundtrack. If I don't get a PS3 soon, I'll at least check the music.

I haven’t played a turn based rpg after I bought SOA Legends.

From what I can tell Fina's not playable so I wonder what it is that she actually does.

Anyway, when I heard some key Arcadia people were working on it I kept my eye on this game, even though at first I thought the art and character designs were a little over the top, and I suppose it still is but I've warmed up to it after looking at it enough.

Also supposedly a key character designer left early in development is a hentai artist, which kind of explains why it's so easy to imagine the characters in porno positions. I guess it's because of the general face shape everyone has?

Anyway, there's Shuntaro Tanaka and Reiko Kodama, whom both worked on Arcadia. I have no idea what either of them did between Arcadia and Valkyria. Probably a couple Sakura Taisen games. I suppose Shuntaro also worked on some Bleach fighting game for the DS, but I don't care to know if that game was any good or not.

Agreed. His Radiant Silvergun soundtrack is one of my favorites. I should really look into his Final Fantasy Tactics soundtracks sometime, too...

As for the game itself, it's sounding interesting. It's some sort of strategy-RPG/shoot-'em-up combo? I'd be interested in having a look, if it weren't for the only console this generation that I don't have.

I already wanted this game, now I want it more, and a PS3 xd

what sucks is I heard this game was first being made for 360 but now that it's only going to be for PS3 I'm probably never going to get a chance to play it because like most people here, I don't have a PS3.
