This isn't a fan vid; it's an actual video that makes fun of the Wii's excessive warnings from the guys who made Homestar Runner. Double plus since it also parodies pre-flight videos used by commercial airliners.

It was actually a bit of an Easter Egg from the main site; this Strong Bad Email contains the code "3uSyK2RdlUY", the video's YouTube URL reference, when you click on the disk container at the end of the Email.

Sadly people still find ways to hurt themselves while playing after all this...

I still refuse to order any of the thicker wrist straps and especially those OFFICIAL WIIMOTE CONDOMS that are on every damn picture of it nowadays.

I said the same thing until my roommate clocked my friend's girlfriend in the forehead with his backswing and drew blood. Then I sent away for the condoms and use them for anything multiplayer.

I'm not so concerned about physical injury, but the condoms really do make for a much more comfortable grip. It makes changing the batteries a bit of a hassle, though.

I've just been too lazy to ask Nintendo for them. I am a little curious to try it with the condom, but it doesn't look like it would work that well.

On the horizontal Paper Mario/Wildfire/etc. rigs, yeah. It's a little bit of a pain in the ass. I usually just put them on if people are coming over and leave them off if it's just me. But it's not that big a deal with most typical Wiimote setups.

I'm with Gibs on this one: I grabbed the condoms because I had got a new controller and it came with one, and I like the grip. You can also use the ridiculously padded end part kinda like a stress ball and just squish it over and over. :P

I tend to break controllers out of frustration, so for me, those Wiimote condoms are a godsend.

That video wasn't just a satire.

Episodic content. Featuring Strong Bad. Don't suppose that video contained actual footage, did it?

Day one purchase, easily.

Question now becomes whether to do it on WiiWare or on PC...
