Strange site of vast historical interest

I was doing a search for something, I don't remember what, probably some kind of early 90's anime porn, but anyway, I stumbled across this rather amazing site:

I can't read any of it. Some of it's in Chinese and some's in Korean I think - anyway, the hodgepodge hieroglyphics aren't the amazing part. Click on the second blue link on the left sidebar, fifth one from the top. It's a gallery of very high-quality cover scans from, as best as I can estimate, nearly half of the entire PCE CD library. Most even include scans of the back cover. There's also a smaller gallery for PC-FX covers - it might be all of them, I'm not sure, very few games were released for that.

Anyway, I was thrilled 'cause I've been looking for something like this for a while. Are there any similar game cover and/or manual galleries anywhere in the vast infinity of cyberspace? I know Atari Age has an excellent cover/manual gallery for the Atari systems and SMS Power has alot from the old Sega consoles, but that's all I know of.



In retrospect, I'm pretty sure the PCE was the greatest game console ever made.

It looks to me like the PC-Engine was the prototype of the Sega Saturn; their only good games could only be found in Japan, the only success they achieved was in Japan, all the good stuff never left Japan... man, what a gigantic waste.
Hope Johnny Turbo was worth it all?

Honestly, I think the PC-Engine's biggest claim to fame is that it produced the storytelling epic that is Last Alert. The voice-acting and plot is simply out of this world. Clearly we were done a great service with this title's translation.

Oh, or maybe it was that silly little Dracula X game. I dunno, I don't think a series about vampire-hunting could ever really catch on in the US. It was probably a good decision to put out titles like Last Alert instead of that one, yes.
