I've always been puzzeled by this, I mean, is it a load of fictitious crap or were the games based off her stories? I can't find info on her anywhere as well.

She was made up for the purposes of Sonic Team and the Sega Technical Institute.

She doesn't exist. She's part of the story, and one that Sonic Team inevitably didn't use.

I've been wondering about this, too. Weren't there like, three "legends" or something regarding Sonic's history that Sonic Team opted not to use? The only one I've ever seen is the Mary Garnett one from the 10th Anniversary pamphlet. The translation of that thing was not entirely smooth, so I couldn't really make out what they were trying to say about it in the introduction. Was it, like, a prototype storyline that was scrapped? And what are the other two?

A detailed Mary story was given in a document translated by STI. Does anybody know anything this document? The only copy that seems to exist is the transcript made by Stealth and he doesn't know much about its origins. Does anyone have a scan of the actual document itself (i.e. not the transcribed version)?

Sonic Dimension also has a three part story that references Mary (titled "Legend of Super Sonic") (Each part represents one of the three legends).

ok, I'm starting to understand this. So this Mary Garnet was part of the first story they came up with. ahh I see. Its just the transcript was very misleading, because it sounded like she wrote it judging by the heading of the story. Problem is many people thought the same I did, so I better go and correct them.

What caught my attention about this is that I was reading this story someone wrote that apparently also thought Mary came up with the story line. It was weird, because the Meg girl that almost died in the fire so to speak was dating this game designer from Japan named Naoto Ohshima...

From the linked story:
[Tails] is about 10 years old, weighs 15 pounds, and is about 2.9 feet tall.

Only 15 pounds? If you keep this up, Tails, you're going to die of starvation! Sure, it's easier to fly if you weight less, but that's not a good reason to kill yourself!

He's actually 8 and keep in mind that you should compare Height and Weight not Age and Weight, and the H&W shows him as a non-anoroxic fox who eats at normal compacity.

J.C., I want you to read CE's first line again very slowly. Then read your post. Tell me what's wrong with this picture.

Umm...that fact is from the story despite it's falseness, Did I pass this semester, what's my grade in the GHZ Forum Class?

I hate myself for replying to this.

Okay, J.C. Let's go over this. Nobody cares if Tails is ten years old or eight years old; that was never the point. All of the things necessary for understanding why you're a douche were actually in your post (as I said), so let's go there.

Notice how CE states that Tails's age, weight and height. This will be important.

After reading this again, do you see the problem?

Here, I'll help you. CE never compared age and weight! He didn't compare anything! He merely laid out the facts (whether he's 10 or 8 is irrelevant) and then made a joke about how fifteen pounds seemed very light. Reading the entire post before replying helps a lot.

Sorry if this was harsh, but c'mon, man. How many times do people have to tell you these basic things? I know they teach you in school that you need to listen (in this case, read) before you speak. Do it.

Sorry, gang, but we've eliminated the letter grade system because everyone learns at their own pace. From now on, we're graded either "Good," or "Needs Improvement," and it's based on effort!
