A freak skin condition

Post by WW »

I've seen some disturbing things in my time on the internet, so much that the grossest of images don't even faze me anymore. But this, this just was'nt fair..

http://blog.wfmu.org/freeform/2007/03/m ... .html#more

Now I have to live in fear that this will happen to me.

It's not really that disgusting to look at and it sounds like unless you were born with it you don't have to worry about it.

His family needs to move away from the cosmic rays before his brother catches on fire.

He looks more like Doomsday than The Thing, really.

It's dude with rocks growing out of his skin. Not that bad unless you imagine what it's like to be the guy. Then it makes your skin crawl. Unless your skin is made out of rocks. He's got this cancerous reaction to HPV that causes nail and tooth tissue to grow from his epidermis.

I see. Something along the lines of David Lynch's Elephant Man then...

I feel sorry for his brother. They're poor so they sleep in the same bed. I think I'd rather sleep on the ground than with my brother who has jagged rocks growing out of his flesh.

Eh, I think the elephant man had elephantiasis... (and a small bout of research reveals he did, as well as more then that)

But if we're on the subject of weird and/or horrible body things, there's always the oddity of having a breast on your foot (Possible NSFW? Do foot boobs count as NSFW??) or the horror of harlequin type ichthyosis (Not safe for sanity)

No, actually. I think that's too weird even for a foot fetishist.
