Hate mail?

Grammatically astrocious?
I'm curious, I really am! Could GG post an example or two of such?

Well, it's nothing too colorful. Usually it's this sort of thing:
"hey update your site"
and
"Finish up with this website! Everyday I keep on seeing the same old crap."
"update your site and on the sonic adventure 2 page the item you get in the Final Rush stage is called the Mystic Melody not the ancient melody"
This one isn't regarding the updates specifically, but maybe it's more along the lines of what you were hoping for:
"Dear itiot
There is no such thing as Mecha Sonic in a Sonic 2 game. Beleave me, I have the games and have beatenn them( like my spelling errors). Also I have Sonic R and Tails Doll's real name is Puppet Tails. And last but hopefully least were do you get your horrible incorrect information from. Sincerely, Your most hateful mean correctful guest ........"
That's pretty much the only kind of mail I've received for the past 2 or 3 months.

Well maybe if you didn't suck so much you wouldn't get those kinds of mail.

Yeah, it looks a lot like the people who write in are blisfully unaware of the Japanese names for everything in the game and are too blind to see the U.S. names sitting alongside.

Ah, I love this sort of stuff. When the hell was the Tails Doll ever referred to as a puppet, anyhow?

The best email I ever got was asking me to mass produce Super Sonic toys and give them away to everyone. At least that is what I think it said, the spelling and grammar were so bad that I may have gotten the wrong idea. My site wasn't even popular or well known or anything.

After starting the first Sonic Adventure 2 FAQ to hit the internet, I was flooded with e-mails and IMs... Like 300+ e-mails a day. It wasn't pretty, and helped a lot in my decision to not finish the FAQ and to stop writing FAQs period. Dumb people. I guess I should've saved the hate mails... They were funny.

I love how people reward your hard work with threats for you to finish your hard work.

Well, there's nothing worse than being stuck, checking a FAQ, and seeing that it's unfinished, especially if it's unfinished to the point right before where you need help. I've noticed sometimes people seem to write FAQs as soon as they can, just trying to get recognition or something, or they'll start a "walkthru" when what would be more helpful is a real FAQ that actually addresses just the tough spots specifically, or maybe the answers to actual questions that people have asked.
But who would need a FAQ so quickly for SA2? There are parts that are hard, but nothing that would really stump a person (not like being unable to re-locate the hidden corner of station square where the key to Ice Cap was dropped for no reason at all... *cough* not like that ever happened to me)...

There was a cut-scene telling you where it was. I had by that point spent so much time exploring Station Square that I knew where it was just by watching the cut-scene. However walkthroughs finding all the Mystic Melodies or whatever for each character had me stumped for awhile until I read NT's FAQ. Stupid hidden chao. That is quite deceiving, they aren't freakin hidden, the Ruin is what's hidden.

Hate mails are fun to read because the people who writes them just doesn't stop to think, whatsoever. I got quite a lot from the Jak 2 fanfic I'm writing. Funny readings...

Fanfic inspires vitriol at a highly alarming rate. You could be writing the best piece of literature ever thought up and you'll still get death threats. It's great.

It's reached the point for me where if someone even has an avatar with something other than an original character/drawing in it, I automatically hate them. This explains my hatred for almost everyone on the internet, especially Gibbon and Del and Silv and YOU READING THIS.

Speaking of that, what the blazes is your avatar from, Silv?

I never received hate mail, but I have had to put up with countless assholes at other forums. Why are there so many stupid people?
More importantly why the bloody freaking hell hasn't the world blown up yet? I mean we have idiots in charge. I figured it would have blown a long time ago.

You didn't just refer to a fanfic -
any fanfic - as literature, did you?

Well, at least Popcorn doesn't hate me for my avatar. I feel loved somehow.
On another note, Greg Dean is pretty sure
he hates almost everyone on the planet.

It's Daidarn V, a really old anime Super Robot. The image is a slicker new version used to advertise a recent DVD re-release. I've never actually seen the show, which makes it even more a dubious choice for my avatar.

Just because some literature is the equivalent of complete and utter crap doesn't mean that it's not literature.
