I just ran across this while searching for a Jack Thompson interview that was on last night about how he's trying to shut down the big bad evil Rockstar machine. I love how it's the corporations who are making bad parents let their kids play violent games :D:D:D:D:D:D

Anyway, not saying anything bad about rating systems, but shutting down the industry? Pfft c'mon.

Anyway, anyone heard anything from any official gaming sites on this game? I want to know what the true story behind it is. Because, to be honest, this would be awesome to show all my Jewish friends.

Did he complain about the gayity in Bully, which was his only real find of "objectionable" material in the whole game?

By the way, that game kicked ass.

Actually he complained about how you can stomp someone's face into the curb in GTA and how in Bully you tear up a school and terrorize children. Basically he embezzled everything he didn't outright lie about.

I mean...y'know...it's not like a kid can download actual video footage of Nazi's killing children or porn or texas chainsaw massacre (THE REUNION!!! DUN DUN DUNNNN!).

What really annoys me is his pompous (read: pmpous) attitude, like he's some white knight of God, fighting against injustice in the world. Dammit, just card the kids like you do for ciggies and booze and let's get on with it.

Or illegalize the entire movie entertainment industry plz.

Oh and if anyone comes across a news feed of the interview I'd like a copy/link/VHS-if-you-dare, as I'm still looking for the evidence in my cold,uncaring hands before I strike him down from upon high; much like a giant would squish a bug. (Read: I'm going to send a nasty letter to some editor.)

Hey kids can go to TV and watch some serious stuff in there too, People have to realize that Games arent just for kids anymore, Games are a huge media now and parents should be responsible for what games their kids pick, thats what the rating its for! sheesh!

Check a Toys R Us if you have any near you, they've got a bunch of games on sale and it's dirt cheap there.

Second topic:
I just fired off a letter to his offices in Miami asking him for an explaination. To be fair, he's much older than me, but since I'm so awesome for my age I'm not exactly sure how to do this math...I mean he is a gigantic douche.

But even a douche must have it's reasons for being a douche. I just think he's religiously motivated is all. But the ESRB and the system lock-outs apparently aren't enough for some people. They really just want you to wrap yourself in plastic and jump in a vat of jello, where everything is safe and controlled.

Anyone ever think about Japanese society for a second? One of the most socially repressed cultures breeding some of the strangest behavior I've ever seen.
