Um, I'm not sure if this is old news, but I was just flipping through the channels earlier and Josie and the Pussycats was on. I started to watch and there was this scene where this guy played a CD in a record store, and in several shots in that scene I saw displays for Space Channel 5 and Ulala in the background. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just behind?

Has anyone here besides you even watched Josie and the Pussycats?

I'm also seeing SEGA logos all over before the 'big concert.'
Yeah, I'm aware of the ads everywhere.

People were talking about this when the trailer was in theaters. The SEGA logo is everywhere. Don't ask me why. And no, I haven't seen the movie.

Doesn't everyone remember the gigantic Josie and the Pussycats video game for Dreamcast? It was the game of the year and made music and rhythm games a world-wide concept.
It spawned 5 sequels, and a 3-D Josie and the Pussycats animated cartoon. People still have Dreamcasts just so that they can play it! It was amazing.
For a year, several editors of gaming magazines had to end every paragraph they wrote with "Ears for Hats.'

There's also an Ulala cameo of sorts at the beginning of the fifth episode of "Undergrads". One of the girls at the fraternity party is dressed as Ulala, with everything except the signature pink hair color.

Undergrads is an MTV animated series from 2001. Great stuff.
Unfortuately, like everything else MTV ever showed that was really worth watching, it was cancelled swiftly and mercilessly. Thirteen episodes worth, one season.

I was aware when I did see something that resembled a video game (I only watched that movie outof curiousity when i came on WB a while back), but never knew what the flunk it was.
