The closet is a lost form of technology from before the war.

So, I picked up Enchanted Arms on a whim. It's the first X360 exclusive JRPG, but that doesn't matter to anyone, except maybe historians and GG!.

After playing it for almost three hours, the game has a battle system vaguely reminescent of Evolution.

Well, sort of. It's also got a bit of strategy RPG flair thrown in. I liken it to a game of dogeball with anywhere from 1 to 4 balls flying at once. You can't cross over to the enemy's side, and you take turns pummeling each other with awkwardly placed moves. There's no straight attack option, so you have to use up EP (Ether Points) to do anything, which recover if you standby, as long as you have VP (Vitality Points), which drain after a battle. Also, you instantly recover all of your HP and EP at the end of a battle.

Confused yet? It's actually pretty easy in action.

The story is fairly cookie-cutter (Big war happens. Most magic is lost. Magic is found by evil people. You are super special. Go kill things), from what little of it I experienced. But that's not the most interesting thing.

It brings me to the explanation of the title. In the beginning of the game, you lead Atsuma, Toya, and Makoto.

Everyone loves Toya.

Yes, everyone, particularly Makoto.

It's about damn time that there were actually queer guys in games, instead of just thousands and thousands that just LOOK really really gay.

SquareSoft, I'm looking in your direction. Make them actually gay, or don't design them to be that flaming.

Darling, Squenix is catering to the fangirls, who want their boys as faggy and girly as possible while still being heterosexual men so they can get off in the shower to silver-haired bishies.

This game crosses the line from androgynous to gay in one swift, lightly-loafered hop.

Plus, with the popularity of yaoi on the internets, sexuality is no longer an issue.

(Somewhat on topic- at least, with the last post)- Some months ago, I went to an anime convention in São Paulo. Some of the facts that became clear to me there include:
-Greasy fanboys aren't just a work of fiction.
-It's bad to stay long periods of time without food.
-Yaoi SELLS.

It's worse to go long periods of time without showering. Otakon smelled like a giant wad of B.O. by Sunday.

Hell yeah it does. Anyone who goes to big cons in the US (like AX and Otakon) has seen and heard The Yaoi Guy. I, uh, don't think he's allowed to do it anymore it some places, but he sells yaoi and likes to advertise it by standing on top of tables and shouting YAOI at the top of his lungs.

They probably learned from Greece, actually.

Ahh, the Greeks. I doubt we'll ever see another culture with such a fascination for wan boy-children.

Or naked olympic wrestling.

No, just a modified Fire Emblem sprite in my (ideal) image. I didn't do the art...

I don't think they're that similar.

I think anal sex crosses the line for hopeless teenage girls. Even then, most will call it quits after someone gets their daily supply of Vitamin Cock through oral ingestion.
