I almost wish I was run over by a truck.

Fans of Penny Arcade may wonder what the deal is with the dude who donated 20,000 bucks to their charity.
One day, Christian Boggs arrived home from school and got on his bike to deliver newspapers. He went between the two trucks that were stopped in front of his driveway and was struck by a "meal hauler" truck heading toward ADM and driving west in the eastbound lane of Holt Street. Chris suffered serious and permanent injuries, including multiple fractures, internal injuries, head injuries and a crushed pelvis. He underwent multiple surgeries over several years. He filed suit against ADM and various truck drivers. The jury assessed 60% of the fault to ADM, 7% to Chris and awarded Chris damages of $3,278,000
How about I get a job at fed-ex, run one of you guys down, and we split the cash?

Ah, thank you. I was wondering about that for about seventeen seconds when I read the thing yesterday. And now I know.

If I get run over, we'd have to split it like 95/5 or something.

We'll split 55/55.

...Grant, who was your math teacher?

P.S.: I like your ass.

P.P.S.: I live in America. We don't say "bum." It is evil.

P.P.P.S: I'm bisexual, so whoever planted that P.S. in there, it kinda backfired.

I don't know, but I wish I had the same teacher.

If only the boy was smart enough to donate $20,000 to a decent webcomic.

He didn't donate it to any webcomic.

I don't read to comprehend. I read to be mocked by my peers.

I think that's called stealing.

Now that I think of it... is there any webcomic you guys consider "decent"? (Sam and Fuzzy doesn't count).
In other news, I'll be trying a few new avatars.
Yup.

Penny Arcade is certainly overrated, but that doesn't mean it sucks. It regularly makes me laugh and that is all I really ask of that particular webcomic.

I like Questionable Content, but that's because I'm a hipster <strike>wannabe</strike> observer.

<a href="http://rainofbastards.livejournal.com/1 ... l">This</a> is the only thing I know about Questionable Content.

Questionable Content has some of the worst (in a horribly, boring uninspired sort of way) artwork I've seen in a webcomic, unless it's deliberately bad and it's just some insider joke I don't get. I guess it's strengths lie completely in the writing though, although from the little I read, I wouldn't want to call any of it 'strong'.

I just scanned through twenty or so installments. The artwork is definitely uninspired, but worse than that is the repetition. I know critiquing webcomics is the oldest of hats--and especially so when it comes to copy-and-pasting--but there's actually something genuinely creepy about the way the characters move through a setting while cycling through three facial expressions and maintaining the same basic posture.

Webcomics are for dirty fat Republicans, evil elfen dwarves, and Grant.

That would be "elven" and I'm not aware of any fantasy continuity where half-elf-dwarves exist.

It sounds like some LotR slash fanfic idea.

Or something similar for Tales of Symphonia.

Aren't Hobbits supposed to be elf/dwarf/human hybrids? Hence the "halfling" moniker?

So would that count as beastiality or what?
