I call bullshit.

Wait, that was a bit of an understatement. Oh well, I don't really feel like driving the point home right now. You don't trust a forum where 95% of the users are unregistered, including the people handing the information out.

Yeah, that 3.9 TB disk doesn't sound the least bit made up by a 10 year old.

I don't see why we should doubt Rich from the Internet.

I'll be flabbergasted if games ever even need 1TB of space, nevermind 3.9.

It's pretty amazing people on that forum were actually buying this.

That is the most clever thing I have ever heard in my life.
Which scares me...

Nobody will ever need more than 640k RAM.

HVD technology is real. Smaller capacity disks are going to be ready as early as this year, but they're going to be ridiculously expensive.

I'm hoping that the technology can catch on quickly, to the point where it can be adapted by home consumers in 4-5 years. Since we all know that this HD-DVD/Blu-Ray bullshit isn't going to go anywhere.

3.9 TB? Christ, that is too much. And here I was thinking that a 256-bit console was too much...which makes me wonder, how much more advanced can games realistically get?

Heh heh, I never thought I'd see a forum where the members are actually more annoying than I am.

I believe the global market capacity for personal computers exceeded five years ago.

X-Box 360, PS3...or am I assuming things I shouldn't?

Again?

(Based on the knowledge that GameCube, PS2, and Dreamcast were 128-bit)

It may sound like a lot, but in terms of storing video, it translates to only a few hours of uncompressed high-definition content.

Why would anyone want to store video uncompressed?
