I bought 2 new copies of Beyond Good & Evil

for $9.99 each at Fry's Electronics last Sunday. I gave one to a friend and started playing it last night and all I can say is wow.
Seriously I wish I had listened when everyone was going on about how awesome it was but better late than never I suppose.

It was fun and original I thought, it wasn't like ORGASMASPLOSION though.

Also it may not be ORGASSMPLOSIONOUS but it's definitely the best $9.99 I've ever spent for a whole game.

Yeah, it was totally worth the 20 bucks I spent on it, sadly that was like 4 days after the game came out too.

I thought that BG&E was absolutely brilliant, but then I do have a thing for subtly sexy asian journalists that know martial arts and live in a unique sci-fi universe that recalls the whimsy of Rayman and the better, darker aspects of the original Star Wars trilogy. Seriously though, I thought that Jane was an excellent female lead character. Not rediculously proportioned, intelligent, but still attractive enough to garner attention. Plus taking pictures is fun! Too bad the rest of the world disagreed.

If you do play it be sure to keep multiple saves, theres a bug where you're partner sorta disappears and traps you so you can't move on. It happened to me like 10 minutes before the last boss, but I had a save about 3 minutes before it happened so it was all good.
Oh and yeah play it, its only like a 12 hour game or so, you can polish it off in a few days, its definately fun!

On a more serious note, it's been said the biggest fan of this game is the director Peter Jackson. He was so moved by this game he got the same people to make the King Kong game...
