So, just getting around to playing Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time. I just finished deinstalling the Executioners and in the process screwing myself so badly that it made my wrist hurt.
However, even though it makes sense story-wise, the incredible difficulty hike in this game borders on unreasonable. I may just be retarded, but because I had not synthesized my weapons, I ended up using 14 analeptics and all of my fresh sage in a single battle against a Chimera... which then became a regular enemy in the Mosel Dunes. As a result, synthesizing is no longer an option, it is a requirement to survive.
I now know why people tote Orichalcon as the next messiah.
