No I don't really like ninjas. In small doses they are tolerable and sometimes even cool. The same goes for pirates. And go-it-alone cops.

The rumor is that he kills more people in the first scene then he did in the whole first movie. Of course, I doubt such a rumor has much credence given they don't even have a script nor a director as far as I know.
