Hey, JLU owns you. Speaking of which, new season just started tonight! First two episodes were pretty good.

So they've given Batman an insatiable taste for brown sugar now? That's...brilliant.

While we're on the subject of Batman, I might as well let everyone know that Batman Begins will be out on DVD on October 18. There will be three differnet editions: The regular fullscreen, the regular widescreen, and the 2-disk delux widescreen (hint: gte the last one on the list). In addition, the four previous Batman movies will be all be released on new special edition disks that actually contain a good set of special features this time. They can be bought individually or in a box set. It's nice to see that these are finally being treated as well as the 1966 Batman movie was with its DVD release (though whether Batman Forever and Batman and Robin deserve that kind of respect is questionable). Go to amazon.com if you wish to know more.

Over and out.

And then, the fourth volume of Batman: The Animated Series arrives in December! These are the 24 episodes that aired on the WB as "The New Batman Adventures".

We don't get the WB up here, and as far as I know this show was never rebroadcast on another Canadian station. So I haven't seen them before! I'm pumped.

I'm just waiting for Batman Beyond DVDs, although the other Batman cartoons are just as good, both the older and newer ones.

It's just too bad that WB is so skimpy with the extras. I would've loved to have seen the "Gotham Girls" web shorts, which were done in the same style as TNBA, as a bonus feature.

This is why the best Robin was the thirteen-year-old girl in The Dark Knight Returns.

There's been a 17-year old female Robin recently, but her training really sucked so she got killed off in a few months. Batman was kind of glad to see her go. REALLY.
