I don't suppose...

Post by Popcorn »

... that any of you fuckers saved any of the old front-page updates that I, Gibbon, Silv and Pep wrote for that year or however long we kept it up? I have a few of my own, but I'd quite like to grab the complete set if anyone still has them.

I still have some of mine. Why do you want them?

Is there a way to read those that doesn't throw a bunch of nonsense text at me? A plugin or something?

I figured since you were the one supplying the files you might know something about them.

There's nothing special about them, so if you can't view them properly, it must be a result of your settings or browser or some other damn thing. The only problem I know of in particular is that Firefox can't view them properly by default, but beyond that, no idea.

Internet Explorer displays it just fineasshole, even though, it's you know, not web-standards compliant like Firefox.

I'm kinda shocked that I actually remember about 95% of these, including the oldest one Kishi had. (I still remember my reaction towards GG calling KH the worst game he's ever played, now I just don't care).

Shame that 16-bit furry mascot page is down, I particularly liked that page.

You could always try the Wayback Machine if that helps you out any...just a thought.

IE is not a browser - it's a plague upon the face of humanity. I don't know where you got the idea that it was a browser of all things.

I thought video game fanboys were bad. Browser fanboys are worse.

A little fanboyism is necessary when a truly superior choice is concerned.

Kishi, I noticed that some of the pictures didn't display properly; I have copies of some of those title banners ("Eggman Wuvs Bunnies!", for instance), and once I get my computer up and running, I'll send 'em over. I also have the final day of "Where the Hell is Picky?" week, due to the fact that it featured an explaination by myself. I also have the pictures from Pepperidge's take on "Sonic X", by the way.

If you do it, don't do it for me. The images display just fine when I open the files from my hard drive. Something just cocked them up when I uploaded them.

Superior, but necessary? According to a system checkup thing, I'm in the bottom 50% of the computers they rank, yet I'm happier with my system than most of the DIYers going nuts with the video card and sound card upgrades.

What about that "serial killer" series? You know, the one with Big in the end?
