(I stole it from the UK Resistance forum, but that's where I get all my material from.)

Show it some respect, none of us has a PHD...yet. I guess.

What are GHZers studying (if anything)? I know GG! recently got a degree in art, NT and I are both studying electrical/ computer engineering. Some, of course, are still in high school (or maybe Middle School... or elementary school; I was in 5th grade for a few days after the GHZ forum started), but what plans are out there?

Mechanical engineering. Interested in designing firearms, particularly small arms, though heavier weapons or military veassholehicles are also of interest.

I don't go to school.

I have a real job: programming video games.

I'm heading to university in a month to start working on my bachelor's in Computer Science. I got my Associate's a year ago.

I haven't picked a major yet, as I pretty much suck at every subject. I'm thinking of just going with English, since I've somehow been able to get decent English grades without putting any real effort into it. I spend a few minutes bullshitting an essay in class every few days, and I get a B or an A. So I'll probably go with English, since it's easy and I'm a lazy bastard.

So far, my "college" experience has been pretty pointless-- I haven't learned anything new or particularly useful. I just go to hang out with my friends. Plus, for whatever reason, there's a lot of cute girls at my school.

I got an associates in 'Scientific Programming' about a month ago. I really didn't learn anything, and I don't feel that I'm any more of a qualified programmer than a 7th grader who knows C++, but hopefully I'll have a job by the end of the week.

I'm starting college this fall, but it looks like I'm gonna be majoring in Psychology. Eventually I shall have my PhD, and when that time comes I will only respond to "DR. ASSMAN."

Like, some fool would be all, "What's up ASSMAN?"

And I'd be all, "That's DR. ASSMAN to you!"

I can't wait.

Awarded triple Merit grade in BTEC National Diploma Moving Image and A in Film Studies AS-Level, returning to college to do a BTEC in E-Media and complete Film Studies to A-Level standard. I presume then I'll be off to Uni, but I don't know what I want to do there yet...hence the second BTEC. Also, I'm just staying at my college because it fucking rocks, and to echo SK it also has many hot chicks.

Last year I took A-levels in English Literature and Language, Philosophy and Media Studies (and got good grades too, bitches).

In two months, I will be attending the University of East Anglia to study American Literature and Creative Writing. I expect to be the world's finest novelist by 2010!

AMERICAN Literature? Where's your patriotism?

I was majoring in Print Journalism with a minor in Pop Culture, but after hearing too many Journalism-major horror stories where the degree has led them nowhere, I've decided to switch while I've got time.

Now my major is Education & Human Development Integrated Social Studies (teaching history at a HS level).

So, Plan B is to get work as a history teacher and maybe work at a radio station as well somewhere, since I enjoy that.

Plan A is to become a late night talk show host or something and fall into a huge vat of money, power and fame.

Still in college, thinking about journalism or text translations.

Somewhere in America. American Literature means I get to study more modern stuff (fuck you Shakespeare) and spend a year in the USA as part of my course.

Well, I work longer hours than the average programmer, get paid $10000/yr less than the average programmer.

But it sure is nice working on a product that you actually like.

I'm off in about a month to attend school in one of the nastiest cities on the planet: Detroit. The campus is rather nice however.

Right now I'm undecided. There's a long list of things I could do, but it's hard picking one that you really like. So far I've eliminated art since it seems to rarely lead to directions I'd want to take. I'm looking into Engineering or Buisness right now.
