She's only 10? I miss the days when 10 year old kids still had their mind on childish games, playing outside, and cooties or something, not cocktails or cellphones. Kids these days are trying to grow up too fast, at least that's how I view them nowadays...

So I finally checked out that DaHv site, in fact I even mentioned it on my show this afternoon, and I can only repeat WB's sentiments.

Just... ugh. That site is definitely from the "they'll let anyone be parents" files.

I mean, how repulsive is it what some parents will do to make a buck? A few posters above were commenting how stupid the 11-year-old girl herself is, but it's not like she's really in charge of anything. I very much doubt any of it was the girl's idea. It's not like she decided at age 8 she was going to be a rapper and then arranged everything.

I would argue that forcing (at best, allowing) your daughter to present herself in the way that DaHv has is much worse than even those pushy child actor parents. At least child actors are encouraged to act their age, where as DaHv is pressured to be more "adult" only because that's what's popular at the moment and presents the easiest way to make money. It's border-line prostitution.

Also, it bears repeating that the music itself was awful. "I'm like Elvis Presley but I'm 10 years old." Wow.
