Jesus. The world may not have needed X-treme Looney Tunes, but at least the old design style had some damned
balls.

OK, I swear that link was working until about two minutes after I posted it.

I've seen it, and I have to say that it's even uglier than the original ugly design.

God, the eyes are just awful and now they look like they just came out of a low-budget DiC cartoon.

Good old Taz has never looked camper, this is just one extreme to the other, totally.

I'm going to laugh when after all this the series bombs.

They've gone from awfully extreme to just awful. It's like the people that designed the first set were given three days to come up with a less offensive version, and instead of starting from scratch, they decided it would be better to actually tone down the existing X-TREME characters.
And the eyes...

This makes me all warm and fuzzy inside...
...because I don't have TV, and as such, will never EVER have to deal with this tripe.

I notice they changed Buzz Bunny's name. I suppose the, um, "toy" manufacturer complained.

I would bet that if they hadn't introduced the show in such an "extreme" way in the first place, making the suggestion that the new characters were "replacements" for the old ones, the public outcry would have been considerably smaller and they probably could have gone with the original concept. And even if that concept was terrible, having the art style (looks like it escaped from a crappy deviant art page) flipped around and having to make adjustments is only going to make it worse. I feel sorry for the staff of this project, they really got screwed.

The Bugs Bunny one is the worst thing ever.

Goddammit. Four months ago I didn't think I'd be lamenting the demise of those old guys, but now i wish I could find that kid and tear him a new one.
These guys seriously are lame.
That look Bugs is giving me is pissing me off.

Well, at least now it has a greater chance of getting cancelled.

I thought I'd never say this, but now I'm glad WB hasn't bought back Freakazoid. They'd just screw it up like they are doing with this "toon". With this and all the other shit Kids WB has had lately, I'm glad classics like the Animaniacs and Freakazoid aren't in the scene. I bet they'd even get rid of the catchy Freakazoid theme song with some sort of Static Shock-like "Yo, yo, gotta be super-teen extraordinaire, I'ma Freak-a-zoid, just runnin' around in my underwear, I'm Dexter Douglas, blue he-ro number one, Freak-a-zoid" bullshit. Honestly, I used to like Ozzy and Drix until someone decided it should be a cartoon. They did the same thing to Men in Black too.
With Loonatics and the new Shadow game, I've been wonder how and when going to the "extreme" became the new trend. Think about it. We were childeren too and we enjoyed what came to us without it trying to be edgey. We didn't care. I reckon the childern of today don't care either, but unfortunetly are treated to all of this.
This raises another quesiton; what was the new trend back then?

Has anyone seen the new "Krypto the Superdog" cartoon?

Thanks for pointing that out. I actually endured an episode of it. Honestly, it was worst than reading those five-paged cardboard books of "Spiderman and Friends" you can find at Publix.

Sonic X, anyone? I'd like to think I'm not a fanboy demanding the Japanese soundtrack, but I hate hearing a cymbal crash every time there's an explosion. And the voices sound nothing like the game. They've taken a kids cartoon, and made it even more childish just by changing some music to match movements. Kids WB and 4Kids suck.

Forgive me for playing devil's advocate, but considering what 4Kids has done to many animes before Sonic X, I think Sonic X dub is one of the better ones. I certainly enjoyed watching it.
As for the Loonantics, I was hoping against hope that they wouldn't be all black and be more...well, colorful. But in truth, I actually perfer the new change as they don't look like pupilless freaks. It also puts me to ease that these are descendents and not the original cast of Looney Tunes. And again, I'm still gonna watch enough before judging.

Even my 6 year old cousin thinks it's stupid. Krypto and the rest of the super pets was just an all-around bad idea.

I've decided to become two-faced in this post. This is a commemorative post that you all should get immortalized:
This series is a bold new step of artistic direction for the Western world and may inspire some quite good, original material.
The flipside:
ACE BUNNY LOOKS LIKE A FUCKING FAG! WHY DON'T YOU GO SUCK OFF A HORSE, YOU FUCKING FAGGOT!
