That's not a problem. That's actually one of the few intelligent parts about the plot.

Funny, that sounds a lot like the original, only in bitesize chunks rather than "Every 2000 years"

Just like the sealing off of all the...towns in the fourth disc? *throws disc against wall*
I do admit I liked the villainess in FF8 better than Sephy by a long shot, they were just cooler and they had that darn cool music...

Edea didn't go evil, she was possessed by Ultimicea.

Adel is such a butch, though. Holy crap.
Anyway, here's a brilliant and almost relevant piece of fanart from somwhere:
Near-exposed nipples for all.

I'm not sure Adel isn't actually a man.

I think Adel and Brahne are signs of a gradual effort to make enough mannish women to match all the femmy guys.

Or maybe I'm just thinking too hard...yeah that's about it...
If he had actually succeeded in stopping Ultimecia from transferring her power he would have negated his own existance and she'd still be alive, eventually achieving "time kompression".

I still don't get it...darnit, between FF8 and FF7 (Two horrible games), I'm ready to quit Squenix right now...
...and return an hour later...
Adel is actually a man who somehow became a sorcereress...that's my explaination because she/he cannot possibly be a woman...

There are worse looking women in real life, Adel's nothing.
Although, as far as videogames go, I can't say I approved.

J-man, you are blissfully ignorant of the way videogame fanartists work.

I'm a Sonic fanartist, but I don't draw Rouge and Amy flashing their underwear or sexual organs gratituously.
Y'know, often.

They've mentioned Adel as a "she" many times. Besides, shouldn't males be called "Sorcerors?" I'm gonna go with the fact that she used magic/plastic surgery/sex change/whatever to develop a steroid bound man chest.

Reminds me of an Atomic Betty panties fanart I stumbled upon.
I still shudder at the memory.

and dont forget FF4, that game was really hard if you wanted it to be really hard.

Because having to deal with extra attack options and a more diverse array of status-curing items instead of the cheap cure-all is hard.

Remedy anyone? Even with all those random status effects, the games were still too easy...I mean Prod Armor is an enormous giant and he poses absolutely no challenge! Maybe I just need to stop playing all the freakishly hard games from the 8bit and 16 bit era...
I thought FF4 was pretty easy...except when I go to the Final Boss and Big Bang just kept slaughtering my party and leaving Rydia dead...but I just didn't have enough HP and he always blew away Shell...

yeah, I swear they stopped making hard Final Fantasy's after the first one.
And let's not forget that when Final Fantasy 2 (SNES) was re-released in Japan, it was call FFIVeasy.
