Looks highly flammable.
Is that a Sonic 1 manga in the sixth picture? Me want!
I also want the french comic book in the seventh pic. Was that comic a one-shot or was there a whole series a la Archie or Fleetway?

At least I know I'm not the only one with the 2 yearbooks now.
Seeing all those old SONIC logos brought a tear to my eye.
That comic in the sixth picture looks like manga set in the Starlight zone alright, that french one suprised me. i want it now.
I'm not sure but I see an absence of Sonic roleplay books, I know I have one.

Does this impressive collection belong to Solly? ^_^

I was thinking the same thing, big smile.

Suddenly, I feel really, really bad for taking my ReSaurus figures out of the packages.

While impressive, it's pretty pathetic.

Somewhere else, David the Lurker wrote:I believe that's Solly's collection...y'know, the French gal...in fact, I know it is since I posted this link earlier and was informed by Sammy.

Damn. I have been out-Sonic-nerded!
What system is that NiGHTS for in the second picture?

Well, if it not Sonic merchandise then people would spend their extra money on other 'stupid' things like toys from another franchise, comics, anime, or video games. ;)

I hate people who by pop-culture for the "investment" or just so they can look at it in pristine condition. What's the point? I mean, WHY? It's not like any sonic investment is going to pay off big today, given recent developements in the series. If you buy it, you might as well use it, for christ's sake.

I like having action figures still in their packages and it has nothing to do with any desire to sell them later. They simply look better in packages, plus you can't hang them on the wall if they're out of their package.

I guess I'll never understand.

Why take them out of the box? I grew out of playing with toys almost ten years ago. I don't understand the advantage of destroying the package.
Anyway, while I don't have much Sonic the Hedgehog merchandise, I do have one Sonic item that ol' Solly doesn't. And that makes me the winner.

How come she took down her Dream Avenue site? I'd like to see scans of these books, particularly that manga.

And what might that unique item be?

When I saw the first pic, I thought it was a mass plushie suicide.
I too own something Solly doesn't. But I'll be a bastard and not say what it is.

I also own a piece of Sonic merchandise that Solly appearently lacks and since I'm nice I'll tell you what it is. It is a little mug(or maybe it is the standard size for a mug in Japan) that features the faces of Sonic, Tails, and Eggman using the SegaSonic the Hedgehog brand.

Not a single Tiger handheld game. And only 2 of the McDonalds games. For shame.

I was going to take a picture of it - and I might still yet - but I can't seem to find the digital camera anywhere, so I'll just tell you.
It's a cardboard poster of Sonic in his arms crossed Sonic Adventure pose exclusively from Hollywood Video that I managed to snag. It's nice, too, because it's just a picture of Sonic with a black outline, so when hung upon my white wall, it looks sharp.
I can't explain it very well, so I'll try and show you.

My action figures are all out of their boxes and displayed on my desk. You people are weird.
