I stumbled across this while looking for a picture of the Sonic R cover:

<a href="http://www2s.biglobe.ne.jp/~ZYUMON/photo2.htm">Amy takes Japan</a>

I have to admit, that's impressive work, though I think maybe this individual should find other ways of challenging himself. I think they're all digitally altered figures from the ReSaurus set...

I also recommend checking out the fan art section of the site. <a href="http://www2s.biglobe.ne.jp/~ZYUMON/pict ... .jpg">Some people just don't know where to draw the line.</a>

Herself. Also, while most of these firgures are altered ReSaurus figures...it seems that it is a possiblity that the Shadow <a href="http://www2s.biglobe.ne.jp/~ZYUMON/phot ... ow.jpg">in this picture</a> and <a href="http://www2s.biglobe.ne.jp/~ZYUMON/phot ... .jpg">this Tikal</a> are original 3D renders.

This site is old news to me as I knew about it over two years ago. It's also the first time I've enocuntered a fan using the "Uekawa-style" of CGing. =)

This webpage is also nice: <a href="http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Yoyo/1629/">Garage Tail</a>. Some nice fanart there but the main attraction is the 'garage-kit' created <a href="http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Yoy ... htm">Sonic figures</a>. Nice stuff.

The really great thing about all those models (I like the one with skateboard best) is that they were all sold at WonderFestival from 1999 to 2003, and not a single one them (except NiGHTS--I have that one) was sold the year I went there, 2001. I believe that justifies one of these:

Oh yeah, I saw that site a long time ago. That's some amazing work there. Can you belive that that Amy figure once sold on eBay for over $80? Someone must've been desperate; I think it was because he was tired of losing the other auctions. Heh, about a year ago, every time I saw one of those figures show up on eBay, I'd make my max bid $50 just to run up the price. I wasn't worried about winning, because I knew other people would always go higher. Man that was fun to watch. Eventually I did win one back in December though.

I highly doubt Tikal is that sexy.

BTW, I think the best feature of that site is the step-by-step process of how she created all those images in the Picture room. I can't understand a lick of Japanese but you know what they say - a picture says a thousand words.

That picture somehow caused me to become even gayer.

Wow, her head looks even bigger now.

Sort of the 'Piccolo effect' - make the body/cape too big, and the head looks fucking miniscule.

Ah, I remember this site. A talented dude he is indeed.

What are those thingies on Tikal's chest? I asked my mummy and she slapped me. :(

Actually, Echidnas don't have boobies or nipples. They have little pouches, and inside their pouches are pores that leak out milk *nods*

So if you wanted to give Tikal big mamaries, you'd show a gigantic bulge in her skirt, where her pouch would be located.

The more you know! The more you grow! :)

Are they marsupials?

No. They're monotremes. Which means "one hole".

That's right. They have one hole down there, for everything. No wonder Knuckles is constantly angry! Their piss-hole and their rectums are the same thing. If I were like that, I'd be constantly murderous, too.

They're also related to platypuses. The rest of the monotremes are extinct.

But they still have pouches.

I thought birds only had one hole too.

Platypuse lay eggs don't they? What about Echidna, do they lay eggs?

Yes, But they are mammals...which is rare because mammals almost never lay eggs

Almost is the operative word here.

I think the echidna is not as wierd as the platypus, though. The platypus' definately has the stranger nose (echidnas have a nose like a trunk, platupii have a freaking duck's bill), and platupii also come with a poisonous sting to waggle menacingly at passing platupii-eating creatures. Imagine if knuckles had been a platypus, with all thier elite platupusical skills. What direction would the sonic series have taken?

I think it's safe to say that as strange as the echidna is, nothing can compare to the weirdness of a platapus. I think of the platapus as God's way of saying that sooner or later, everybody fucks up.

Platypus's are badass. Don't think it would make a very intimidating video game character though. He'd be the guy that walks in and everyone starts laughing.
