Diffy Qs? More like Easy Qs!

So it's finals week. Here at least. I thought last weekend would be hell, but I once again underestimated my ability to procrastinate. So the majority of my studying has been taking place during Saturday and Sunday whereas my plan was start last Wednesday. Oh well.

So there I was, sitting at my desk at 7:45 in the A.M. awaiting my consistently late professor to come and dish out the End of Days. To my surprise it was a joke. I missed about 5%: an integral I forgot how to do and a transform I couldn't figure out, but all the rest was candy.

My CJ exam also didn't put up much of a struggle. I had to guess on seven questions at the number twenty-five mark and panicked, but then the questions turned from criminal theories to various questions about rape, arson, murder and white collar crime.

These exams were the eaiser of the two. I get to tackle phyics and my inane "programming" class t'morrow. Then I'm done.

So what's the status on your tests, fellow GHZers?

I worked 25 frickin' hours this past weekend. At least 18 of those hours were spent sitting alone in a studio, occasionally talking or pressing a button. I could've easily gotten all of my studying done then.

But I decided to dick around on the internet the entire time instead. It is as the proverbs say: "procrastination is a lot like masturbation; it's all well and good until you realized you just fucked yourself."

My Business and College Comp. finals are Wednesday and my PC final is the 9th.

This has been one of the easiest semesters. My business Prof. is 75 years old and is totally not interested in teaching the course. He comes in tells jokes, rattles off what we need to know and then gives a test. When the results come back he says "Well, everyone got a B. So, I'll raise eveyone's scores by 8 points".

My English Prof. is an old hippie. He talks about how he used to get high with his friends and make fun of the jocks. He's laid back but he's also the biggest liberal I've ever met. I suspect he grades papers not on the structure, but on the topic, as conservative students seem to get the lowest grades in his class.

My Computer Prof. irritates me. I work as a PC/Network Tech and this guy just assumes that nobody could possibly know anything about a computer. He stands up there and says things like "Now, I know none of you know this but..." and then I end up correcting him on some flawed point he just made. He looks at me and asks "Oh? And where did you hear that?", in the most condescending way. My freaking grade percentage for the class is 98.8%. The next highest in the class is 92%. Yeah, I think I know what I'm talking about. I'm taking this course 'cause it's a prerequisite.

Blah. I didn't mean to rant.

My finals are next week. 2 are open book, 1 is a joke, and one is a class on video games. So I'll be studying for the finals as much as I studied for the classes.

How do you know your Diff'EQ results already?

Because it was easy. The estimated percent error is the number of points that the two questions I didn't answer were worth. I could have done a bit worse factoring in careless mistakes, but I understood every concept on that test so I'm still confident that I am in the 3.5-4.0 range (with just that test, probably the 3.0-3.5 range for the entire class).

At least you're confident, that's good sign. I wish the best results for all GHZers in their finals.

I'm still waiting for props for the clever joke in the topic title.

It was so clever no one gets it!

Math jokes are statistically more humorous.

Yeah, I procrastinated so much that my take home final that isn't done yet is due sometime tommorow, my math test that I haven't started studying for is tommorow at 6PM and my History of Rock 'n Roll test that I haven't really studied for at all is in 8 and a half hours. Grant or Baba want to take it for me? It's optional, if I get above an 80% I got a B and above a 90% gets me an A-. Below those scores and I'm stuck with a B-.

I think I'm gonna half ass study for a half hour then go to bed and study on the 20 minute walk down there.

The only thing that I hate about procrastinating is that I set aside yesterday to do nothing but study, so instead of doing anything fun I just sat around and watched TV. So I got no studying done and didn't get to do anything I'd enjoy doing.

I would be revising my for physics and chemistry exams, but I procrastinated by messing around on this forum. So, yeah. Excuse me.

I passed my only exam, AS Film Studies, one mark under an A. W00. I'm still knee deep in my Final Major Project though, which makes up like 90% of the necessary criteria for getting my Diploma...and I have to complete it in 3 weeks. Ack.

I start my fist GCSE exam on the 10th, and that' s an Art exam, which shouldn't be too hard, and then on the 17th is a media studies exam, and considering you get all the answers before the test guartee's you a good grade.

Art exams are seriously one of the funnest things ever. Eight hours in an art room to do whatever you want with all the equipment? Yes please! It's the only thing I took the subject for; the rest of the time I was just messing about.

My physics exam was considerably tougher. Bad things might be the result of my poor performance on it. Oh well. My "programming" class will be a joke in comparison. After 2200 today, I will be free of this education until the next year.

I'm counting down the hours already. I'm finishing up my physics take home exam at the moment, then I got a math test from 6 to 8 and I'm done. 8 hours to go!

Man, I hate school.

Yeah. Art is an easy subject, 10 hours with hardly no supervision in huge hall with paint AM SAY YES

I couldn't fucking stand my god damn Basic Drawing class this semester. I just don't get art at all I guess. Also by the end of the class we really didn't do any drawing. Our final project had to be a collage.

I have four finals next week, with the legendary Engineering Phyics test, an easy Data Structures (C++) final, a Calculus 3 final, and a Circuit Analysis final that will be fairly insane since I haven't had Diff. Eq. yet.

Well, my Business and English finals were today. They weren't as bad as I thought they would be (of course, nothing ever is).

Got a B on my English paper, pretty good for <2 hours of writing. I am awaiting my Buisness results. PC final is this coming Monday.

College: Year One ... completed. I smoked all of my exams right in the fanny and ended up with all A's and a B in my classes, just like the first semester.

I came, I saw, I came. On your sister.

Well I just got my CJ score back. Solid 4.0. That will help balance out my physics. I hope.
