Open it in Paint. Save As, change filetype to JPG. Save.

Thanks, dude. I'm trying to upload a new avatar from my computer, but that godamn Avatar Control Panel just ISN'T accepting it!! I already tried making it smaller, turning it to jpg, gif, png, but no, it still says "The avatar filetype must be .jpg, .gif or .png"!! What's the problem?
