See that nifty tube on the top? That's a counter recoil tube. Basically it works on the same principle as a recoiless rifle (rocket launcher). The heated gases are pulled from the barrel and redirected out that tube to counter the recoil. Thus the ingenious name.

It's a manual bolt-action single shot "rifle" so no real vibration.

For that department...

This would be much more useful.

I know, 'cause Holic told me, but I have no idea how that has anything to do with Chris's gunporn.

Dear Ms. Oxford Dictionary,

It's "Chris'."

P.S.

It's an MP5A5 with an M203. Too bad it's Airsoft. This is inspired by the action flick "End of Days." The character, Jerico, uses this weapon though he loads the grenade launcher with what appear to be 30mm caseless shells that (as far as I know) don't even exist. They also seem to have penetrability equal to a HEAT cartridge. Ridiculous. But badass nonetheless.

Dear Chris,

STOP IT!

Sincerely,

P.S. End of Days sucked, and I didn't have to watch it to know that.

This puppy throws an aerodynamically perfect 35-gram tungsten dart through an inch and a half of steel a kilometer away. It leave the muzzle at about 1450m/s which is a little over Mach 4.

I think I just got pwned, but no one else here would be able to recognize that.

I blame my 8th grade English teacher. He was a rapper.

http://artists.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/Cypher_Kings/

My teacher is "Paul the Apostle."

Paul Finnen -
aka Paul the Apostle aka Elaye the Firewalker aka ...one of the original founders of the group, his ablility to teach carries over nicely into his lyrics. For him, standing in front of the mic is similar to standing in the front of his classroom teaching his 8th grade T.A.G. students.

Fuck that. His rap friends would come into class all the time and bug us. He said poetry was boring and was irresponsible as hell. One class period he didn't say a word just for the hell of it. No one knew what the fuck was going. Sure he was a cool person. But a fucked up teacher.

It's nice to know that I'm "talented and gifted" though.

What, with the "Chris's" thingy? I noticed, but didn't bother because Delphine covered basically everything.

Although I don't quite get the "Strunk and White" part.

English is a changing language like any other, and personally it seems like the "s" after in an apostrophe in words that end with an s is unnecessary.

I remember my English teacher wanting us to add an s after those kinds of words, but everyone in the class pretty much disagreed. Actually, the teacher even said that it was ok to write Jesus' because it occurs in the Bible so often, although it was an exception. I just think its a natural part of the evolution of the language, and most people, it seems, prefer to leave out the extra s.

I hope no one says languages don't/shouldn't change. Go back to Old English or Middle English then.

What a useless post about grammar.

As far as I'm concerned, both Jesus' and Jesus's is correct; I simply prefer to use Jesus's. The only real language change that bothers me is all right to alright, as I may have mentioned previously. I usually ignore it but I was PMSing that day.

Just say the word out loud. "Chris's"

Do you pronounce it "Chris" or "Chris-is"?

Exactly.

What do logic and pronounciation have to do with written language?

Not a hell of a lot.

You pronounce it "Chris-is" because it's spelled "Chris's".
