Well, not exactly. There are about as many Canadians who say "aboot" as there are yanks who say "y'all." It's kind of a regional dialect.

Down here, most everybody says "y'all". Heck, I say it, and I don't even have a southern hick accent.

I say y'all, but that's because where I live, we slur all of our words together. All of them. Sentences are just one long big word.
