Segaholic - If a day ever arises where you have the free time, I *highly* recommend watching any given season of 24 all in one go.
After a couple of recommendations, I bought the first season in April 2003, completely unaware of what awaited me, and swore to watch the full thing over a period of 24 hours... by the time midnight rolled around for the second time in the marathon, my mind was toasted. I could remember generally what happened, and was fairly clear on everything that had happened in the later hours, but my recollection of the early morning and afternoon hours were very hazy by this point. Yet at the same time, the fact that I couldn't pull up every detail that had occured in the past day made the feeling that all of this had just occured even more strong.
Did the same with Season 2, but got interupted less than halfway through... second attempt quite a while later was successful though. Had generally the same results as Season 1.
After watching Season 3 over a period of eight months... I dunno, it really doesn't leave that same feeling behind. Season 3 was still greatl... but the first two days were better. Maybe I'll change my opinion if a time comes where I ever get to watch Season 3 "in real time".
Uhm... crap I kinda rambled on there. Anyway, yeah, just try watching the first season again, one episode every hour. It really adds to the effect, even with the 15 minute breaks between episodes. Those just give you ample time to use the restroom and prepare food anyway.
