Those seem more like a snack and not cereal. And there is no way in hell the white stuff in the middle is "milk". You know, I probably don't want to know what that white stuff is.

I love homemade Rice Krispie buns, with Cadbury chocolate.

Skipping breakfast--especially on work days, that really a bad habit and not really good for the body, especially the brain.

So that explains my exceptionally terrible bad short term memories, and all along, I thought it was because I hit my head too many times. *shurgs* Oh, well.

Yeah, what is a Rice Krispie bun? I've never heard of such a thing, but it sounds delightful. Please elaborate.

I have no idea what a Rice Krispie treat is you crazy yanks.

You just get a big block of chocolate, break it into smaller pieces, then melt it, add in lots of Rice Krispies and stir until well distributed. Then get a big spoon and put nicely sized blobs of it into those little paper bun cases and give them some hours to cool.

Cadbury's milk chocolate is the best, naturally. The genius is in the simplicity. Just never eat store bought ones.

A Rice Krispy treat is basically the same thing you described, except with a mysterious gooey white substance.
It says its marshmallow, but I dunno...

Oh boy. This topic became hopelessly off-topic. In other hand, that was my most "postfull" topic, so thanks to worever is the responsible.
By the way, I like Sucrilhos (the one with the tiger).

Frosted Flakes.

I've given up on all cereals altogether. Though I'll sometimes have a bowl of corn flakes w/ sliced bananas on rare occasions. And sugar.

I think the last themed cereal I enjoyed was Reeses Puffs.

Intresting bit of Trivia... in Canada, Rice Krispies "Treats" are called Rice Krispies "Squares." Always, even by Kellogs.

Remember that brief period of time when they had a Rice Krispies Treats Cereal? They actually renamed it Rice Krispies Squares Cereal when it was released up here.

What, Rice Krispies Treats Cereal is gone now?

I remember that stuff. That was like in 1994 or so, when the N64 was just coming out. They were having that competition where you could win a Nintendo 64 and Mario 64 if you were marked a winner on the inside of a box of Rice Krispies Treats Cereal. I was only 10 or 11, and I wanted to win a Nintendo 64 so badly because $250 or whatever it cost was so much money. Of course, I didn't win jack.

Wheaties - breakfast of champions.
Since they didn't finish building my dorm yet, I'm living at a hotel. The food people bring those little individual trays of cereal around every morning, so I've been trying/ re-trying all kinds of cereals... Trix does taste different, Lucky Charms still rule, and Cinamon Toast Crucnch isn't as good as I remembered.

Nope, it's still around -- I saw it in the store the other day. They probably don't have it in Canada anymore, if Esrever's post is any indication.

Eh? The availblity of the cereal varies from region to region in the U.S. as well. I haven't been able to locate the Rice Krispy Treats cereal in any store close to my home since the late 90's.

I guess it's in limited production just like Boo Berry.

They're Squares in the UK too. They're also fucking stupid because they're not crispy. Soggy cereal is bad even in dessert form.

I tried a lot until I found "Quaker kids sweet crunch", yeah the name is a bit stupid, but it tastes good and is cheap.

Plain Chex cereal works for me. Cheap, comes in large organizable boxes, doesn't taste like sunshine and happy rainbows and all other sorts of unicorn shit.
If I'm feeling daring, I sprinkle some sugar on it and it's done. No more damn Ritalin-selling, animal mascot promoted junk.

I was never a huge fan of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but yeah, it's another one of those that isn't even as good as it used to be. French Toast Crunch is cool, though.

Is that still in limited production? Because I've had no trouble at all finding it for the past four or five years. It was my absolute favorite cereal when I was still riding in shopping carts, then for years and years it disappeared and I figured it was out of production, then I found some at a dubious mom & pop mart in Tennessee. Didn't find it again until five or six years later, and now it's all over the place. I think they mass produce them for Halloween, because that seems to be the best time of year to grab them. They're still so good... I like mixing Boo Berry with Franken Berry, though I've discovered Count Chocula doesn't make it a desirable threesome.
Raisin Bran, dude.
Yeah, I also really like Raisin Bran. I always have, I think my parents thought it was weird when I was 6 years old begging for a box of Raisin Bran. I can't eat it during the week, though, because it gives me the turbo shits.

You know what else I've really been into lately? Cap'n Crunch. That stuff is fucking awesome, it's one of the few cereals I enjoy more now than when I was little.

I could only eat so many French Toast Crunch before I wanted to throw up. I just couldn't stand eating them anymore after a while.
